Nice looking hounds on here so far.
Eddie my pups look like that when they are young, but don't stay that houndy. You have some nice ones though. I do have a couple nice females for future crosses, but time will tell if they make it here.
Travis I sure like the looks of the Utchman hound. He has a big blocky head and wide muzzle like mine here.
Tom I talk with Steve perryman from time to time. He has some hounds that still look like the foundation stock of his family line. They are put together right.
I will have to check out Ms Guthrie on stud dog page. I like hounds that still look like hounds.
I believe you can lose some things when you give up the houndy looks. I have had guys say mine can get treed two times to your dogs one and when I hunt with them it does'nt always go that way. I say if I have to walk a mile to the tree the dog better have coon. I am not a comp hunter neither so getting treed 6 times in two hours is not a big deal to me. I will take 3 or 4 coon in two hours though.
