excuses

Let's put all the hunts in the winter and stop this circle point nonsense. This will never happen because UKC is as bad as the the slick treeing dogs for making rules that benefit the mediocre dogs to win and hurt the accurate tree, honest strike dog. These titles mean nothing anymore, really, feeder bucket champions, these are a joke. World Ch. That have tree after tree circled, I've coon hunted for 40 yrs and I never have tree after tree where the coon doesn't look.

Feeder buckets

They shouldn't be allowed to hunt feeders, heck that's like your mom giving u money or ur wife and u don't have to work for it .. To easy a poodle could tree coon off of them ,

When It comes back to the Deep South somewhere in North Mississippi would be ideal. Maybe around Winona, Charleston, or Batesville. You can't beat the Mississippi State Parks for camping and staking out dogs. Go to MDWF&P.com and check out the rates and parks.

If you dont like it, don't try to get qualified. Bottom line is, a small number of people will not bother to get qualified because of the location. I bet they still won't have a problem putting 105 in the finals, no matter where the finals are located. Leaves on or off.

wld hunt

well I went threw ukc..about leaves on..they said if they had the hunt in the second week of Nov..there be no turn outs and most all the the dogs would minus out...lol that's crock..and yes..theres a lot no that the wld..u have to tree a coon to be a winner.
circle tree ott 2 be minus...period with leaves on..un less trees are in your way to see the tree the at that suppose coon,is in..and blocking the view of the tree. ..other wise minus..no excuses..

and I like to no how the Mojo female got all the way to the end..and then she finnaly trees a possum..wonder how many she got plused on before..inbetween times lol...not saying she did but it don't seem likely..she dint threw all those nights.srry bit that m.o.

no leaves is where the true test of time comes..no matter where the hunt is.
we raise ''COON HOUNDS..or we raise tree slicking mutts..your call ukc.

I don't care where they have next years world hunt just hope that I will have the chance to go. I think sometimes we get wrapped up in this sport worrying about how we can gain an advantage or how to get ahead and we don't stop and just enjoy the ride. So I don't care where they have it just know I'm coming for all of u. You'll know me when you see me I'm the fat guy with a smile.

Leaves... Finding the warm spot in a tree

Has anyone seen those hand held thermo imaging devices that show warm spots on the screen? Has anyone used anything like this while pleasure hunting?

Most parts of the country turkey season is in though, turkey hunters are as bad, or worse than deer hunters. There is no season but small game in late February/Early March. To me, this would be the best time to hold it.

like I said

These titles don't mean anything anymore. Just read the play by plays over the last few years. It not that the dogs are good dogs it's just which on doesn't do the worst job. They're all do a bad job.

And everybody on here believes the UKC told you that they'd all minus out in November. Give us a break man. calm down. The big boys hunt in September, and if you can win in November, you should be able to do so in September. We use all non- hunting judges in the big show, and yes i reckon a mistake could be made by the judge, but not very likely. Dogs are dogs, and there are good ones and bad ones. The cream will rise to the top, and it matters not what time of year you are hunting. No need to try and convince me you are "seasoned". I can tell by your responses.

Anyone that would get on here and run there mouths about the dogs that made it to the end don't have a clue. These dogs have been hunted down at that point, and can make mistakes or not hunt well. But you wouldn't know that if you have never HAD a good hound and HUNTED it to the point that it looks bad.

On a little farther south you get out of Arkasas mountains into some of the most beautiful hunting grounds anywhere rolling hills and easy walking & plenty of coons went to the Fisherman's Classic just on south of Conway great hunting!
