that kind of dog will keep you from having to feed a whole pack of hounds. i remember when i was young back in the early 80's that a pack was good because you had one who could push a track, one who could grub up a track and one that was a good tree dog. Now days the total package is being bred into dogs, and you should not need a pack of dogs to tree a coon. I like it when dogs stay together at times, but if a dog cant tree a coon alone then i don't need it.
