* Executive Order 10995 allows the government to seize and control the communication media.

* Executive Order 10997 allows the government to take over all electrical power, gas, petroleum, fuels, and minerals.

* Executive Order 11003 allows the government to take over all airports and aircraft, including commercial aircraft.

* Executive Order 11004 allows the Housing and Finance Authority to relocate and establish new locations for populations.

* Executive Order 11005 allows the government to take over railroads, inland waterways, and public storage facilities.

* Executive Order 11049 assigns emergency preparedness function to federal departments and agencies, consolidating 21 operative Executive Orders issues over a fifteen-year period.

* Executive Order 11051 specifies the responsibility of the Office of Emergency Planning and gives authorization to put all Executive Orders into effect in times of increased international tensions and economic or financial crisis.

* Executive Order 11310 grants authority to the Department of Justice to enforce the plans set out in Executive Orders, to institute Industrial support, to establish judicial and legislative liaison, to control all aliens, to operate penal and correctional institutions, and to advise and assist the President.

* Executive Order 11921 allows the Federal Emergency Preparedness Agency to develop plans to establish control over the mechanisms of production and distribution of energy sources, wages, salaries, credit, and the flow of money in U.S. financial institutions in any undefined national emergency. It also provides that when the president declares a state of emergency, Congress cannot review the action for six months.

Now that's freedom at it's best! These are 13 executive orders signed by President Obama out of over 900 to date signed by him since elected...

Saul Alinsky...Breitbart News

In 1998, a small Chicago theater company staged a play titled The Love Song of Saul Alinsky, dedicated to the life and politics of the radical community organizer whose methods Obama had practiced and taught on Chicago’s South Side.

Obama was not only in the audience, but also took the stage after one performance, participating in a panel discussion that was advertised in the poster for the play.

Recently, veteran Chicago journalist Michael Miner mocked emerging conservative curiosity about the play, along with enduring suspicions about the links between Alinsky and Obama. Writing in the Chicago Reader, Miner described the poster:

Let's take a look at this poster.

It's red—and that right there, like the darkening water that swirls down Janet Leigh's drain [in Psycho’s famous shower scene], is plenty suggestive. It touts a play called The Love Song of Saul Alinsky, Alinsky being the notorious community organizer from Chicago who wrote books with titles like Reveille for Radicals and Rules for Radicals. On it, fists are raised—meaning insurrection is in the air.

And down at the very bottom, crawling across the poster in small print, it mentions the panel discussions that will follow the Sunday performances. The panelists are that era's usual "progressive" suspects: Leon Despres, Monsignor Jack Egan, Studs Terkel . . .

And state senator Barack Obama.

Miner obscured the truth. His article only reveals only a small portion of the poster. Here’s the whole poster:

And here’s the press release:

So, what’s in the play? It truly is a love song to Alinsky. In the first few minutes of the play, Alinsky plays Moses – yes, the Biblical Moses – talking to God. The play glorifies Alinsky stealing food from restaurants and organizing others to do the same, explaining, “I saw it as a practical use of social ecology: you had members of the intellectual community, the hope of the future, eating regularly for six months, staying alive till they could make their contributions to society.”

In an introspective moment, Alinsky rips America: “My country … ‘tis of whatthehell / And justice up a tree … How much can you sell / What’s in it for me.” He grins about manipulating the Christian community to back his programs. He talks in glowing terms about engaging in Chicago politics with former Mayor Kelly. He rips the McCarthy committee, mocking, “Everyone was there, when you think back – Cotton Mather, Hester Prynn, Anne Hutchinson, Tom Paine, Tom Jefferson … Brandeis, Holmes … Gene Debs and the socialists … Huey Long … Imperial Wizards of all stripes … Father Coughlin and his money machine … Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd … and a kicking chorus of sterilized reactionaries singing O Come, All Ye Faithful …”

And Alinsky talks about being the first occupier – shutting down the O’Hare Airport by occupying all the toilet stalls, using chewing gum to “tie up the city, stop all traffic, and the shopping, in the Loop, and let everyone at City Hall know attention must be paid, and maybe we should talk about it.” As Alinsky says, “Students of the world, unite! You have nothing to lose but your juicy fruit.”

The play finishes with Alinsky announcing he’d rather go to Hell than Heaven. Why? “More comfortable there. You see, all my life I’ve been with the Have-Nots: here you’re a Have-Not if you’re short of money, there you’re a Have-Not if you’re short of virtue. I’d be asking more questions, organizing them. They’re my kind of people – Hell would be Heaven for me.”

That’s The Love Song of Saul Alinsky. It’s radical leftist stuff, and it revels in its radical leftism.

And that’s Barack Obama, our president, on the poster.

This is who Barack Obama was. This was before Barack Obama ran for Congress in 2000—challenging former Black Panther Bobby L. Rush from the left in a daring but unsuccessful bid.

This was also the period just before Barack Obama served with Bill Ayers, from 1999 through 2002 on the board of the Woods Foundation. They gave capital to support the Midwest Academy, a leftist training institute steeped in the doctrines of -- you guessed it! -- Saul Alinsky, and whose alumni now dominate the Obama administration and its top political allies inside and out of Congress.

Stanley Kurtz, author of Radical-in-Chief
, described the Midwest Academy as a "crypto-socialist organization.” Yet almost no one has heard of Midwest Academy, because the media does not want you to know that the president is a radical's radical whose presidency itself is a love song to a socialist "community organizer."

The reason Newt Gingrich surged in the Republican primary contest in January is that he was attempting to do the press's job by finding out who the current occupant of the White House actually is. Millions also want to know, but the mainstream media is clearly not planning to vet the President anytime soon. Quite the opposite.

For example, Miner tries to turn Obama’s appearance on the Alinsky panel into a plus for the president:

Obama was on the panel that talked about Alinsky the last Sunday of the play's run at the Blue Rider Theatre in Pilsen. Neither Pam Dickler, who directed the Terrapin Theatre production, nor Gary Houston, who played Alinsky, can remember a word Obama said. But he impressed them. "You never would have known he was a politician," says Dickler. "He never said anything at all about himself. He came alone, watched the play, and during the panel discussion was entirely on point and brilliant. That evening I called my father, who's a political junkie, and told him to watch out for this man, he's going places." Houston was just as taken by Obama—though he remembers him arriving in a group.

But is it a good thing to impress the sort of people who show up to laud The Love Song of Saul Alinsky? Here are the other members of the Obama panel:

Leon Despres: Despres knew Saul Alinsky for nearly 50 years, and together they established the modern concept of “community organizing.” Despres worked with secret Communist and Soviet spy Lee Pressman to support strikers at Republic Steel in Chicago in 1937; the strike ended in tragedy when 14 rioting strikers were killed and many wounded in a hail of police bullets. Despres worked with another Communist Party front, the Chicago Civil Liberties Committee, but eventually left because of the “Stalinism” of its leaders.

Also in 1937, Despres and his wife delivered a suitcase of “clothing” to Leon Trotsky, then hiding out from Stalin’s assassins in Mexico City. Despres and his wife not only met with the exiled Russian Communist, but Despres’s wife sat for a portrait with Trotsky pal and Marxist muralist Diego Rivera while Leon took Rivera’s wife Frida Kahlo to the movies.

Quentin Young: From 1970 until at least 1992, Quentin Young was active in the Communist Party front organization, the Chicago Committee to Defend the Bill of Rights – a group dedicated to outlawing government surveillance of radical organizations. He was also a member of the Young Communist League. Young, a confidante and physician to Barack Obama, is credited with having heavily influenced the President’s views on healthcare policy.

Timuel Black: An icon of the Chicago left, Black was originally denied officer training because military intelligence claimed he had secretly joined the Communist Party. Black also worked closely with the Socialist Party in the 1950s, becoming president of the local chapter of the Negro American Labor Council, a organization founded by Socialist Party leader A. Phillip Randolph.

In the early ‘60s Black was a leader of the Hyde Park Community Peace Center, where he worked alongside former radical Trotskyist Sydney Lens and the aforementioned Communist Dr. Quentin Young. Black served as a contributing editor to the Hyde Park/Kenwood Voices, a newspaper run by Communist Party member David S. Canter. By 1970, Timuel Black was serving on the advisory council of the Communist Party controlled Chicago Committee to Defend the Bill of Rights.

Timuel Black says he has been friends with domestic terrorists William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, “going back to 1968, since long before I knew Barack.” In April 2002, Black, Dohrn and Democratic Socialists of America member Richard Rorty spoke together on a panel entitled “Intellectuals: Who Needs Them?” The panel was the first of two in a public gathering jointly sponsored by The Center for Public Intellectuals and the University of Illinois, Chicago. Bill Ayers and Barack Obama spoke together on in the second panel at that gathering. Communist academic Harold Rogers chaired Timuel Black’s unsuccessful campaign for Illinois State Representative.

Studs Terkel: A sponsor of the Scientific and Cultural Conference for World Peace in 1949, which was arranged by a Communist Party USA front organization known as the National Council of the Arts, Sciences, and Professions.

Roberta Lynch: A leading member of Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and a leader of the radical Marxist New American Movement (NAM).

Are we expected to believe that “Baraka Obama” was a countervailing voice of reason on a panel of radicals?

The reason that Obama's Alinskyite past, and his many appearances in political photography and video from the 1990s, are conspicuously missing from the national dialogue is that State Senator Barack Obama's reinvention as a reasonable and moderate Democratic politician could not withstand scrutiny of his political life.

Because the mainstream media did not explore his roots, the American public remains largely ignorant of the degree to which Obama’s work with ACORN and his love of Alinsky were symbolic of his true political will.

How Prevalent is Gun Violence in America?

According to the National Crime Victimization Survey, 467,321 persons were victims of a crime committed with a firearm in 2011.[1] In the same year, data collected by the FBI show that firearms were used in 68 percent of murders, 41 percent of robbery offenses and 21 percent of aggravated assaults nationwide.[2]

Most homicides in the United States are committed with firearms, especially handguns.[3]

Homicides committed with firearms peaked in 1993 at 17,075, after which the figure steadily fell, reaching a low of 10,117 in 1999. Gun-related homicides increased slightly after that, to a high of 11,547 in 2006, before falling again to 10,869 in 2008.[4]

Find data on homicides by weapon type from the Bureau of Justice Statistics.

Gangs and Gun-Related Homicide

Gun-related homicide is most prevalent among gangs and during the commission of felony crimes. In 1980, the percentage of homicides caused by firearms during arguments was about the same as from gang involvement (about 70 percent), but by 1993, nearly all gang-related homicides involved guns (95 percent), whereas the percentage of gun homicides related to arguments remained relatively constant. The percentage of gang-related homicides caused by guns fell slightly to 92 percent in 2008, but the percentage of homicides caused by firearms during the commission of a felony rose from about 60 percent to about 74 percent from 1980 to 2005.[5]

Nonfatal Firearm-Related Crime

Nonfatal firearm-related crime has fallen significantly in recent years, from almost 1.3 million incidents in 1994 to a low of 331,618 incidents in 2008. Since then it has risen; in 2011 there were 414,562 incidents.[6]

As a percentage of all violent incidents (i.e., rape, sexual assault, robbery and aggravated assault), between 1993 and 2011, nonfatal gun crime has ranged from a high of 8 percent to a low of 5 percent. In 2011, firearm crimes comprised 8 percent of all violent crimes.[7]

8 % of all violent crimes...once we take the guns away...how do we fix the other 92 % ?

Concealed carry laws
reduce crime

By John Silveira

Issue #143 • September/October, 2013

This year, Illinois became the 50th state to allow the carrying of concealed weapons by law-abiding citizens. That's a milestone that heralds a lot of good news for crime statistics. More guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens has drastically reduced violent crime in the last quarter-century.

Back in 1986 there was only one state — Vermont — that allowed "unrestricted" concealed carry, as guaranteed by the Second and Fourteenth Amendments of the Constitution of the United States. That is, you didn't need a license or permit to carry a concealed weapon in Vermont. Eight others were "shall-issue" states, meaning a citizen needed a permit of some sort to carry a concealed weapon, but the state had to issue such a permit to any law-abiding citizen unless there was cause not to. Another 25 states had "may-issue" laws, meaning a law-abiding citizen could apply for a permit, but the state didn't have to issue it if the applicant didn't have what amounted to a "good reason." The remaining 16 were "no-issue" states, meaning just what it sounds like — the average citizen was not allowed to carry a concealed weapon under any circumstances.

Right now, all 50 states allow some kind of concealed carry. Five are unrestricted, 37 are shall-issue states, and only 8 are may-issue states. Had I been asked 27 years ago, I'd have said we'd never see this day. But it was difficult to get to this point because when the widespread movement to allow concealed carry began in the 1980s, the antigun people warned that more guns would lead to carnage in the streets. Every time a state considered allowing concealed carry, the antigunners foretold of fender benders and traffic disputes being settled by gunfire, and barroom arguments over who was a better center fielder, Mickey Mantle or Willie Mays, being resolved by firefights. Of course, as each successive state made concealed carry an option for its citizens, none of the antigunners' predictions came true. But this didn't stop them, because whenever another state considered allowing concealed carry, the same tired arguments were freshened up and paraded out again.

So, if we didn't get carnage, what did happen?

The May13-May19, 2013 issue of Bloomberg Businessweek (formerly BusinessWeek), a magazine wholly owned by Bloomberg, L.P., which, in turn, is 88% owned by New York City's antigun mayor, Michael Bloomberg, carried an article titled Good News on Guns, Bad News for Gun Control. According to the article's author, Paul M. Barrett:

• The Bureau of Justice Statistics, a federal government agency belonging to the U.S. Department of Justice, says that from 1993 to 2011, gun homicides in the United States have dropped by 39% and, according to the Pew Research Center, an American think tank organization based in Washington, D.C., the drop may be closer to 49%.

• Nonfatal gun crimes have dropped 69%.

• The average annual number of homicides in schools has dropped from 29 in the 1990s to 20 in the 2000s.

What makes this ironic is that Mayor Bloomberg is enacting some of the most stringent antigun laws in the country. So much for taking care of the people he "serves."

Barrett doesn't speculate on the reasons for the drop in gun crime, but gun proponents have, for years, said that widespread gun ownership and concealed carry licensing (exactly what has been happening since 1986) would lead to lower crime rates.

John Lott, an economist famous for authoring books such as More Guns, Less Crime, has done a statistical analysis of the proliferation of concealed carry laws. His research indicates that almost everywhere concealed carry has been allowed, violent-crime rates have fallen. Academics have attacked Lott on personal grounds, while disputing his studies on narrow and often esoteric grounds. Supporters, however, have repeatedly demonstrated the efficacy of his statistics.

The National Academy of Sciences has claimed there is no correlation between concealed carry and crime rates, one way or the other. What is true, however, is that no reputable study has ever backed up the antigunners' claims that laws allowing concealed carry by law-abiding citizens lead to crime increases. On the other hand, in jailhouse interviews, felons have said what they fear most is not the police, but armed citizens. Draw your own conclusions.

What I hope the future brings:

• More states will allow unrestricted carry.

• Better yet, the universal recognition of concealed carry permits among the states, i.e., if you've got a license from one state, the other states must honor it, just as they do drivers' licenses.

• Best would be for the states and federal government to finally honor the guarantee of the Second Amendment, which says, "...the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed," and forget this foolishness about licensing because the truth is that America is now safer than it has been in decades, and one of the factors in this decrease of violent crime is that there are more law-abiding citizens than ever who are "packing heat" in their homes and on the streets.

I'm one of them.

The Washington Examiner

Despite his calls for greater gun control, including a new assault weapons ban that extends to handguns, President Obama's administration has turned away from enforcing gun laws, cutting weapons prosecutions some 40 percent since a high of about 11,000 under former President Bush.

"If you are not going to enforce the laws on the books, then don't start talking about a whole new wave of new laws," said a gun rights advocate.

In the wake of the horrific mass killing at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., Democratic lawmakers have begun preparing a new collection of anti-gun laws, including renewing the assault weapons ban, banning the purchase of high-capacity clips that spring bullets into guns, and tightening rules on who can buy weapons.

Lawmakers are banking that the public will push for new gun controls. But as with other mass shootings, polls find the public split, and blaming the shooter, not the gun. Pew Research Center for the People & the Press on Monday found that public is evenly divided over whether the Newtown shootings reflect broader problems in American society, 47 percent, or are just the acts of troubled individuals, 44 percent.

Figures collected by Syracuse University's TRAC project, the authority on prosecutions from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, shows that the administration has reduced the focus on gun crimes and instead steered prosecutors and investigators to drug crimes.

Gun prosecutions peaked at 10,937 under Bush in 2004. A current TRAC report shows that the Obama administration is prosecuting about 6,000 weapons cases.

According to an October 2011 TRAC report, "There also has been a shifting emphasis towards drug-related investigations. Since ATF-referred prosecutions peaked in FY 2005, the number of weapons prosecutions actually has fallen by 32 percent, a much higher rate than for ATF prosecutions overall. Making up the difference has been the growing number of drug cases, up by 26 percent during the same period."

In 2011, the Obama gun prosecutions hit a low for the decade, but there has been a slight uptick in prosecutions this year, said another TRAC report.

Second Amendment advocates said on background that they expect Obama to press ATF to boost prosecutions and use the Sandy Hook case, and other mass shootings, to move gun control to the top of his second term agenda. "It's in his DNA to push this issue," said one gun-rights official, speaking on background. "This would be his crowning achievement, if he can ban guns," added the official.

Obama Pushes for Gun Control, Refuses to Prosecute Gang Gun Crime in Chicago

April 3, 2013 By Daniel Greenfield
Obama is the very model of a modern hypocrite. The Celebrity-in-Chief tours the country demanding gun control measures while largely pretending that gun violence is something that happens in suburban schools when it actually largely takes place in urban areas, including Chicago.

Much of the gun violence in the country is actually gang violence in urban areas. The media has largely chosen to ignore this while focusing on the occasional mentally ill mass shooter.

All of this would be bad enough, but Obama has chosen to neglect Federal gun prosecutions in Chicago to an obscene degree.

David Burnham, co-director of TRAC, states their analysis says that according to case-by-case U.S. Justice Department information obtained under the Freedom of Information Act, there were 52 federal gun prosecutions in Illinois North (Chicago) in 2012, or 5.52 per million in population.

By this measure, compared with the 90 federal judicial districts in the U.S., the prosecution rate in Chicago was the lowest in the country.

Considering that there were 522 people murdered in Chicago in 2012, one would think that the documented lack of enforcement of existing gun laws by a president seeking more of them would be a national scandal.

The Syracuse study also showed that nationally federal gun crime prosecutions hit a decade low in 2011 under President Obama, down 40% from their peak under President George W. Bush in 2004.

The number of federal weapons prosecutions fell from about 11,000 in 2004 to about 6,000 under the Obama administration in 2011, before ticking up to 7,770 in 2012.

That’s a very sharp drop but it’s not surprising when you look back on Obama’s career in the Illinois State Senate where he failed to vote for a bill cracking down on gun possession in schools. A law that would have largely targeted the gangs who are highly influential in Chicago politics.

For Obama Inc., the gangs are responsible for most of the shootings in urban areas are not the gun owners that they are looking for.

Deaths under Presidents Bush and Obama article 2011

(CNSNews.com) – "President Barack Obama has not yet served three full years as commander in chief, but the number of U.S. casualties in the 10-year-old Afghanistan war has now tripled since Obama was inaugurated on Jan. 20, 2009.

On that day, the total casualty count for the then-7-year-old Afghan war was 569. As of Sept. 30 of this year, it was 1,698.

The 1,129 additional U.S. casualties in Afghanistan since Obama took office equals 66.5 percent of all U.S. casualties there for the duration of the war.

With three months still to go, 2011 is already the second deadliest year of the war.

From January through September 2011, 340 U.S. service members have been killed in Afghanistan--only 22 fewer than the 362 who were killed during the same span in 2010, which was the deadliest year so far for U.S. forces in Afghanistan.

The top three deadliest years of the war -- 2010 (497 deaths), 2011 (340), 2009 (303) -- have occurred under President Obama’s tenure.

At least 38 U.S. troops died in Afghanistan in September, making last month the second deadliest September of the war, exceeded only by September 2010, when 42 Americans died.

August 2011 was the deadliest month of the conflict, according to CNSNews.com’s tally. Seventy-one U.S. troops died in August, including 30 on a helicopter that was shot down by insurgents on August 6.

The top five deadliest months of the war, which began October 7, 2001, have taken place under Obama’s presidency -- August 2011 (71 deaths), July 2010 (65), June 2010 (60), October 2009 (58), and August 2010 (55). Historically, the Afghan summer months of June to September have seen the most fatalities.

Of the total 1,698 U.S. military deaths in the decade-old Afghanistan war, at least 1,129 (65 percent) have happened since Obama officially became president three years ago. The 1,129 military fatalities under Obama’s watch are almost double the 569 that took place under the eight years of the Bush administration.

The average monthly fatality rate for U.S. military forces serving in Afghanistan has increased more than 5-fold since Obama became commander-in-chief, rising about 6.5 deaths per month under President George W. Bush to more than 34 under Obama.

Of the 1,698 total U.S. military deaths reported so far, about 88 percent (1,488) have been combat-related. The remaining non-combat deaths occurred as a result of accidents, illnesses, drowning, or other non-combat incidents. Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), are the number one killer of U.S. forces.

CNSNews.com’s detailed count of U.S. military fatalities in Afghanistan is derived from official casualty reports issued by the Department of Defense and the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force-Afghanistan, augmented by information taken from media accounts.

The database includes all U.S. troops who died or were fatally injured in and around Afghanistan while supporting military efforts against insurgents under Operation Enduring Freedom, which covers multiple countries.

CNSNews.com’s total count of U.S. fatalities in and around Afghanistan includes 12 U.S. troops who died in Pakistan and three who died in the Arabian Sea while supporting combat operations in Afghanistan. The death count of 1,698 could be revised, given the lag time in Defense Department reporting.

On Sept. 22, in his final testimony to Congress before retiring as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, , Adm. Mike Mullen accused the Pakistani government of 'exporting violence' to Afghanistan.

He said that 'extremist organizations serving as proxies of the government of Pakistan are attacking Afghan troops and civilians as well as U.S. soldiers' and that those organizations 'are hampering efforts to improve security in Afghanistan.'

President Obama announced in December 2009 that he was temporarily increasing U.S. military presence in Afghanistan by 30,000 troops. On June 2 of this year, the president announced that 10,000 troops would be out of Afghanistan by December 31, and another 23,000 would be withdrawn by September 2012. That would leave around 60,000 soldiers in Afghanistan.

During his final testimony to lawmakers, Mullen also said the president’s plan to withdraw 33,000 U.S. forces from Afghanistan by the end of next summer increases the 'military risk' for U.S. forces, but he later added that he 'absolutely' supports Obama’s drawdown proposal and that the risk is 'manageable.'

Now banned interrogation techniques lead to bin Laden's capture
Posted: May 03, 2011 12:54 PM CDT Updated: May 03, 2011 1:34 PM CDT

WASHINGTON (AP) - Officials say CIA interrogators in secret overseas prisons developed the first strands of information that ultimately led to the killing of Osama bin Laden.

Meanwhile, details are coming out about just what happened during the raid to nab Bin Laden -- who was code named "Jackpot" in the operation.

Current and former U.S. officials say that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, provided the nom de guerre of one of bin Laden's most trusted aides.

Full Coverage: The raid on Osama bin Laden

The CIA got similar information Mohammed's successor, Abu Faraj al-Libi. Both were subjected to harsh interrogation tactics inside CIA prisons in Poland and Romania.

The news is sure to reignite debate over whether the now-closed interrogation and detention program was successful.

In the wake of the Sept. 11 attacks, former president George W. Bush authorized the CIA to use the harshest interrogation tactics in U.S. history. President Barack Obama closed the prison system.

And now, CIA Director Leon Panetta is offering further details, in interviews with Time and the PBS "Newshour."

Related story: Secret SEAL team from bin Laden raid is based in Virginia

He tells PBS that once the teams went in, "almost 20 or 25 minutes" went by in which officials in Washington "really didn't know just exactly what was going on."

In the Time interview, Panetta says that when the head of Joint Special Forces Command reported that commandos had identified "Geronimo" -- the code name for the operation -- then "all the air we were holding came out."

Bin Laden's code name during the operation was known as "Jackpot," some news sites reported.

And he says when the helicopters left the compound 15 minutes later, the room broke into applause.

Meanwhile, congress may consider docking the almost $1.3 billion dollars in annual aid to Pakistan if it turns out the Islamabad government knew where Osama bin Laden was hiding, the head of the Senate Intelligence committee said Tuesday.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., said she wants more details from CIA director Leon Panetta and others about the Pakistani government's role. Feinstein spoke to reporters about the raid that killed bin Laden early Monday and the questions raised by his hiding place deep inside Pakistan.

Incredulous lawmakers are pressing Pakistan for answers to two simple questions: What did its army and intelligence agents know of bin Laden's whereabouts and when did they know it?

Seal team 6 leak

Defense Secretary Robert Gates made a fairly startling admission while speaking at Marine Corp base Camp Lejeune in North Carolina yesterday. When asked about the how government was protecting the men who carried out the mission to kill Osama bin Laden, Gates admitted that there were deep concerns. Apparently, during that fateful Sunday night, everyone in the Situation Room agreed that no information about the mission should go public. Obviously, that plan went up in the air pretty quickly. Those leaks now have members of SEAL Team 6 concerned for their safety and, primarily, the safety of their family.

From CNN.com:

“‘We are very concerned about the security of our families – of your families and our troops, and also these elite units that are engaged in things like that. And without getting into any details … I would tell you that when I met with the team last Thursday, they expressed a concern about that, and particularly with respect to their families,’ Gates told the audience.

‘Frankly, a week ago Sunday, in the Situation Room, we all agreed that we would not release any operational details from the effort to take out bin Laden. That all fell apart on Monday, the next day.’”

From the Blaze...

The White House seems like they can’t control any of the information out there about the death of UBL. The latest shows that the administration couldn’t even keep a lid on the operational details for twenty four hours, and now SEAL Team 6 had serious concerns about their safety.

“Now a concerning omission by Defense Secretary Robert Gates shows one thing was flowing and that is information leaks. This is a story on The Blaze, one of the lead stories: Loose lips. Gates says info leaks has SEAL Team Six fearing for its safety.”

“May I say to you that I have often thought if I were going to do a fundamental transformation of America, I could not get away with the last steps with the military, especially SEAL Team Six. I know enough special forces people and the legends of SEAL Team Six. I also know enough fiction writers that do their homework that know every CIA agent, every SEAL Team Six member one way or another or former SEAL Team Six members. So I know what SEAL Team Six is allegedly capable of. These are the elite of the elite. These are the SEAL team members that have the keys just about to everything. You want to do something? You go to Delta or SEAL Team Six,” Glenn said.

“We have a president of the United States that has an administration leaking information on who was responsible for killing Osama Bin Laden. Why is that a problem?”

“Robert Gates says that information is flowing and there have been so many leaks that SEAL the SEAL team that carried out the raid now fears for its safety. Robert Gates, why are you now confirming that it was the SEAL team that did it? Quote: We are very concerned for the security of our families, of your families and our troops and also these elite units that were engaged in things like that and without getting into any details, I would tell you that when I met with the team last Thursday, they expressed a concern about that and particular concern with respect to their families. He then dropped this bombshell, according to The Blaze. Quote: Frankly a week ago Sunday in the situation room we all agreed that we would not release any operational details about the effort to take out Osama Bin Laden. That fell apart the very next day.”

“Let me tell you something. If any besides on the battlefield, if any family member of SEAL team or any member of the SEAL teams or our Delta forces are targeted and killed by Muslim extremists, this administration will be responsible for it. You do not leak information about our Delta and SEAL teams. You don’t do it.”

“If you wanted to grab the reins of the United States of America, you’d have to take the SEAL teams out, you’d have to take the Delta Force out, you’d have to make them afraid to do anything. I certainly would not say that the administration or anybody in the administration would try to do something like that. But I certainly would say they are so childish and irresponsible, they have no idea what they’re doing that they would leak it for the press, leak it for their own glorification and put them in jeopardy.”

Biden’s National Security Leaks Brought Down SEAL Team 6
Posted: August 12, 2013 in Corruption and Suppression, Elections, Foreign Policy

While it is hard to forget that Joe Biden is a buffoon, it is important to remember that he is a buffoon with national security information. He is also a political opportunist who will score political points at any cost. According to the Washington Times, Biden’s loose lips are the reason 22 Navy SEALs from Team 6 are dead, after their helicopter went down due to an attack by a Taliban fighter.

Navy SEAL Team 6 has attained international prominence for one reason: They were responsible for killing Osama bin Laden. They are American heroes. Yet, their own government betrayed them. Several days after the bin Laden operation, Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. — in a pathetic attempt to spike the football and gloat — publicly revealed their central role in the raid. His revelations put a giant target on the backs of every Navy SEAL Team 6 member. A covert unit, whose mission is to operate in the murky shadows, was exposed as the group that eliminated al Qaeda’s chief mastermind. Mr. Biden’s reckless actions — followed by President Obama’s own words acknowledging the secret unit’s operation — jeopardized the Navy SEALs’ safety.

A number of now deceased members of SEAL team 6 contacted family members warning them about the danger Biden had put them and their families in. They instructed their families to remove any information from social networking sites that may link them to SEAL team 6. But it was not the families who were attacked in the end, a helicopter carrying 22 Navy SEALs from Team 6, 7 Afghan fighters, and four others was shot down on landing approach in Afghanistan by Taliban militants. But the story does not end there; for some reason, a cover-up then ensued.

Apparently, someone tipped them off that the SEALs were coming; the helicopter was attacked from three sides in a coordinated ambush. The U.S. military claimed that the Chinook was blown to pieces by a shoulder-fired missile, in which everyone on board was burned beyond recognition. Hence, senior military officials ordered the American bodies cremated without the prior approval of their family members…

The military’s narrative, however, is false. Charles Strange, whose son, Michael, died during the attack, says he viewed the pictures of the crash site. “I saw Mike’s dead body,” Mr. Strange said in an interview. “It was clearly recognizable. He was clutching his gun. He wasn’t burned to a crisp. Why did they cremate my boy? They didn’t need to do that. Something’s not right.”

And the other sketchy part of the story from the U.S. military is that, oops, the helicopter’s black box was washed away in a flash flood, except that flash floods are almost unheard of in that part of Afghanistan. The helicopter was also not given ariel backup, which is reportedly standard procedure for the military. And finally, the 7 Afghanis on board the downed helicopter replaced at the last minute the Afghan fighters who were originally supposed to be on board.

There are a number of suspicious details about this incident which leaves much to question, and that is why the families of the dead American soldiers want answers. Rep. Chaffetz and Rep. Issa have launched a probe into the deaths, let’s see how long it takes for the Obama administration to claim they are wasting time and resources on a phony scandal; a scandal which is very real to the friends and loved ones of those murdered.

The 2010 United States House of Representatives elections, were held on November 2, 2010, as part of the 2010 midterm elections (along with Senate elections), at the midpoint of President Barack Obama's first term in office. Voters of the 50 U.S. states chose 435 U.S. Representatives. Voters of the U.S. territories, commonwealths, and the District of Columbia chose their non-voting delegates.[a]

Republicans regained control of the chamber they had lost in the 2006 midterm elections, picking up a net total of 63 seats and erasing the gains Democrats made in 2006 and 2008. Although the sitting U.S. President's party usually loses seats in a midterm election, the 2010 election resulted in the highest loss of a party in a House midterm election since 1938.[6][7] The Republican Party gained control of the most House seats since 1938.[8] Republicans gained the most in New York state where they picked up six seats, defeating five incumbents and winning an open Democratic district. The heavy Democratic Party losses were attributed to anger with President Obama, opposition to the Affordable Care Act, and the weak economy.[citation needed] This was the third consecutive mid-term election in a president's first term where the Republican Party has made gains in the House of Representatives
