Well I think I still love to coon hunt been having a tuff time getting another dog going. Thought it was me not nowing how to start one but I believe its more more on not having any coon in my spots been very tough on me have three well breed dogs here just can't seem to get them on any coon hope this years better have a nice female showing alot but so did my male nothing yet! Good luck this year V!!!

HE LIVES IN MINNESOTA NOW AND GOT STARTED LAST WEEKEND. HE IS A VERY NICE PUP. WE HAVE HIS SISTER HERE AND SHE IS NICE. I AM WORKING ON AN ARSENAL OF FEMALES TO HAVE AND USE IN THE FUTURE. TUFF HAS BEEN A VERY NICE ADDITION. <v>

Got to be honest, he is a looker (can tell it is my first picture) getting lot of comments from my holstein hunting friends.

Remember this is my first blue tick.

Tree hard last night on all three dumps with the other dog,

Have had him out 3 times, can't say it is me just came natural because I don't believe you took him to the woods at night.

Worst dang part, is my son likes him around the house more than our dalmatian

NATURAL IT IS. I SHOWED HIM ONE TURN LOOSE COON. HE, HIS SISTER AND THE TERRIER DID A GOOD JOB RUNNING IT OUT OF THICK BEANS AND PUT IT IN THE GROUND. HE AND HIS SISTER KILLED A KIT WHEN THEY WERE RUNNING LOOSE. YOU STARTED HIM AT NITE. KEEP HIM ROLLIN. <v>

I got my littermate out about 5-6 times I did not want to burn him

He trees, the last time he wanted to stay out with the older dogs.

Thanks Perry. I like him alot. Did real nice with the old dog. Started turning him lose in standing corn by himself after awhile.The 2nd time I did it he got 1 treed solo! that was a week after turning 9 months! And then the nexct week we were shut down for deer season and then cold. Gotta love it!!

THIS IS THE PEARLY FEMALE WE KEPT OUT OF TUFF AND G.FRIEND. I LIKE HER. SHE HAS 2 BROTHERS THAT I KNOW OF THAT HAVE BEEN HUNTED, AND THEY ARE COMING ALONG NICELY. THE ONES THAT DIDN'T GET HUNTED MUCH TIL HIDE SEASON DIDN'T GET TO SEE MUCH ACTION THIS YEAR. I HAVEN'T GOT MINE HUNTED LIKE I WOULD LIKE TO, BUT SHE SURE DOES GET BETTER EVERY TIME SHE DOES GET TO GO. IF YOU HAVE A NICE FEMALE AND WANT TO BREED TO A GOOD HOUND THAT CAME FROM A WHOLE LITTER OF COON DOGS, THIS TUFF DOG IS THROWING WHAT HIS PEDIGREE AND ANCESTOR'S SAY HE SHOULD.TUFF IS OUT OF GAUGE AND HIS GRANDMOTHER TO TUF BETTY. NOT MANY MALES OUT OF THE CROSS LEFT THAT I CAN THINK OF.AS STATED ABOVE, THE LITTER TUFF WAS OUT OF ALL MADE COONDOGS . BOTH GAUGE AND BETTY MADE THE REPRODUCER'S LIST AND TOP COON DOGS. Perry

I have not pushed my pup as you know. Last year at 8 months he treed the second time out. Legs on the tree and I am not talking the cage coon drill and get them in to a "routine" it was natural.

Weather was tough last winter and 25 inches of rain here in April and May so hunted him a little this spring but been getting him out quite a bit lately and he is really turning the crank. It is drop the tailgate and he gets busy.

Pretty much your first statement on his daddy-eager to please, does not look to avoid other dogs but once he is tree he does not care what any other dog is doing he is hooked.

The other thing I can not say enough about is the confirmation. It sure does not hurt to hunt one when the first thing out of everybody's mouth that has been around hounds for awhile is boy what a looker.

Getting a few treed this opening week of season. Not hunting as much as I would like, because of that 2:30 am alarm, but making it out some. Cash is doing real well and I really am liking him. Hunting him alone for the most part and he goes hunting and when he hits a track he is very determined to find that coon. All 3 trees in the last 2 hunts have had coon in them.

GUYS, TUFF IS THE ONLY MALE LEFT ALIVE FROM THIS CROSS. THEY ALL MADE COONDOGS.TUFF IS NO DIFFERENT. I HAVE KILLED A PILE OF COONS WITH THIS HOUND OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS BY HIMSELF. HE HAS ONLY SIRED A COUPLE LITTERS, FROM THEM ARE COMING SOME NICE YOUNG DOGS. <v>
