I'm sure glad a lot of Guys still have some Good Stock off ole Bark.. These have got to be the best kept secret in the Walker world. If you have always wanted to hunt a hound that acted like a hound should and trees coon in 90+% of their trees ... You might want to get ahold of something with some Bark in it.

Bark dog

I have Nite Ch All American Gangster (Thug) that is off Bark and Gander. He made Nite Ch in 3 hunts with one being 1st at Leopard Days and a 3rd at the Kentucky Houndsmen hunt. We are hunting him to Grand him now. He is a full brother to Powerpack that Jerry Frazier has.

I have a Cowee Creek Clint x Nailor female bred to him now that will be his first litter of pups. I have four more females booked already for 2014. He will be a Super Stake Sire and Performance Sire for 2014 as well. We also will be hunting him in a few PKC Pro hunts.

He isn't perfect but I sure like him.

Yea, Whitey is a Grandnite Ch and a PKC Ch. He is really a nice dog. The fellow that owns him has never bred him and is really looking to bred him to see what he throws. He has a two year old American Express X Gander female that is coming in heat now and we are begging him to breed them. I don't know much about breeding coon dogs but to me BarkXGander crossed with American ExpressXGander would make for some interesting PUPS?

LOL I haven't yet seen one perfect. I'm sure Thug is like my dog Pyro, I never leave the woods unhappy and when he has his bad nights I just tell him well bud that's why they call it coon hunting and pet him on the head cause I've had more good nights than bad with him. They're just dogs not machines with a computer chip program lol!! Something about them Bark dogs, they love attention. Pyro smiles at me when I feed him and when we're playing in the yard.........no joke lol!! I know I sound like a youngan but he loves when I give him attention and I love when he trees coons so we a good arrangment lol! Pyro loves to ride on the golf cart. That's my son Dalton and Pyro on the golf cart. Perfect timing with the picture, they both had their tongues out lol!!

Whitey has a long loud bawl on track and the hotter the track is he starts to put a squeel at the end. He gives two or three long dying locates and trees with short bawls and few chops. He is a hard tree dog. He can run a cold feeder track and tree or take a hot track to the tree. He really likes to make sure the coon is there. He is really a smart hunter, you can turn 3 dogs loose with him down a dirt road 30 yards from a creek or spring the other dogs will run the road for awhile and Whitey will go directly to the water. It is like he knows were to look for the coon? Like the other guys said he is not perfect, but he is better than most in this part of the country. He does have some off nights, but they are few and far between most of the time. Again I don't owe him but get to hunt with him anytime I want. Thanks!

Gangster

Wes- there is a chance you have been in the woods with Thug. He was raised from a puppy by Wayne and Todd Norfleet. I tried to buy him as a eleven month old pup watching him split tree the very first night he was ever hunted. I finally was able to purchase him as a late four yr old.

There will be a full page ad here in the next couple months in both the Cooner and the Bloodlines on him. Come check him out!!!

As far as how he operates he has a bawl on the ground and a big Lipper locate. His tree mouth is different. He has a short bawl squall when it's warm and on cooler nights trees alot like Pack. Most importantly he is DEADLY accurate. He will trail past a dog slick and tree the coon. He isn't fond of backing a dog but will if they are running the same track together. Other than that he will be by his lonesome. If you drop him five times with dogs he may be on a tree with one on one/two drops at best.

He has only been in four hunts in his entire life. He won one and placed in the Top 3 in the other. One cast he fell in love and looked like an idiot, that was also the day I bred the Clint female not intending to go to a hunt four hours later.

SMTW-

I remember Todd and Wayne having that dog, just never hunted with him. Now that I think about it I do remember them having one out of Bark, didn't realize he was out of Gander.

I just hunted with Pack one night up at Jeff's. He was a big hunting hustling type dog that would get treed quick. I loved his mouth and he was an excellent tree dog. Bumped some junk, but ran it right. I think he treed 4 singles and missed one.

I like one that is looking to get treed quick and will cover some ground if need by. He was stylish in the way he operated that night. I think as well as Gander has reproduced, one of these males stands to have some reproducibility as well. Having Bark thrown in there doesn't hurt either

I have one that has been very satisfying to me. I need to thank Mr. Mark Defendoll for raising and training him and for selling him to my hunting partner. I also want to thank my hunting partner Stanley Lewis for letting me have Turbo. This dog is not perfect but in the 9 months that i have had him he has treed a lot of coons consistantly.

He has never been bred, but i have been looking for a female to cross with him. Don't know much about the bottom side of his pedigree but have noticed that a lot of people from Indiana have posted on this post and this dog was raised and trained in Indiana. If anyone knows this dog or hunted with him please let me know.

.......NITECH GRCH SKUNA RIVER BARK

NITECH SKUNA RIVER TURBO (6 yrs old)

..............GRNITECH CLODFELDER'S MONEY (SACKET JR)

.......GRNITECH DEFENDOLL'S AMY

..............NITECH CLODFELDER'S HANNAH (YADKIN TAR CHIEF)

Also want to Mr. Defendoll for allowing another one of his dogs to make it down to middle Ga. a few years back that was a very nice dog by the name of GRNITECH DEFENDOLL'S MIGHTY JOE. He has set a very high standard when it comes to comparing COONDOGS in our area.

I sure wouldn't be afraid to try it. Doubling up on Queen has worked well try crossing Wrangler on Fred females.

Wes- Good chance you will get to see him go we are hunting him up there all week at either the Labor Day Classic or the UKC Mini Slams. Haven't decided which we will hunt Mon-Wends but will be at the Classic Thurs-Saturday. We are in the woods hunting him now I will try to get some
video.

Wes

Pack sounds good. I keep in touch with John Abrams (Ganders owner) pretty regular. He speaks highly of Pack. The whole cross as a whole seems to all have done really well.

I have high hopes that Thug will reproduce as good as he should. Time will tell. I have several females that are supposed to be coming to him this year.

Puppies now 7 weeks old ready for pickup. Some have already been picked up.

Sire is Pride who is directly off of Skuna River Bark and who won the 2013 Purina Nationals.

The dam of the puppies is off of a Skuna River Bark and Stylish Hayes female.

Puppies are $325, they are SS and perf. All you you gotta do is pay for the papers to be put in your name. Mr. David is a great guy. He lives in Arkansas, give him a call and get you a nice Bark bred puppy.

Awww....Come on, no love for ole Fred?

Chris: I just booked the last male off of Joe, wanted a female but I guess you beat me to it. I've only hunted a grandpup to fred so far, but she impresses me almost every night. She's got a whole lot of coon sense, and from what I hear bark dogs aien't no different.
