Irony or Hypocrisy?

Asks "how many ILLEGAL / out of season coon you all shoot?"

And has a signature of "Take a kid hunting. Set a good example."

Gotta love it......

I apologize for asking anything that makes or made anyone mad. In my area and everyone I have came in contact with shoots a coon out of season or has to train a pup. I personally have not in past several years. I apologize again and hope this is forgivin.

Coon not as thick down here as they were where I was from in NC so I try to conserve on our lease as much as I can. I like having plenty of coon to start young dogs.
exactly. takes unintelligence to kill a sow this time of yr with kittens. kill 1 nursing sow, u kill 4or 5.

My limit during season, take no more than 1 per tree period. and none during the off season unless they get into my chicken pen or garden.

imho dogs tree because they where bred to not because of how many you shoot out to them.

There were some knotheads talking about gutting shooting coon to walk them down a tree to dogs .. and i got booted from that group for reminding them it was a public group and that stuff was pretty wild to be talking about .. and doing.

Popping coon out is for the hunter , not the dogs ... it's like a kid shooing birds with a bb gun or that deer hunter that gets antsy and pops a coyote or squirrel from his deer stand when no deer come by ... those people exist everywhere , but in our sport .. .they do us more harm than other groups those type belong to.

Hounds have evolved past needing many coon out to make em' treedogs ... too bad we can't say the same for hunters !

Dogs aren't people , they don't hunt for money or to pay bills and buy gas ... and they get culled if they don't do their job , we don't ... humanizing animals is what the AR do ... they wanna give dogs rights , and now hunters wanna give dogs a paycheck ... hmmmm

Ricky yes you can trap, You need a traping license, Must have written permission on the land your traping, you can evan take a picture BUT IF you pick the trap off the ground with the coon still alive you are illegal, If you move it while it's alive you are illegal..
When is the last time you have seen a LIVE coon at any NC coon club for a treeing contest??
