Repeting a sucessful cross has to be one the smartest things you can do . The genectics are the same from both dogs every time . Shure they mix different every time but to me the chances for sucess have to be better .

I believe it does in fact work. If a cross produces good coondogs I figure it will the next time, there are many repeat crosses that have failed and many that have worked. It comes down to how many coondogs it produced. Some get competition hunted, some don't. But if they are a coondog with the traits you were looking for, go for it. I like coondogs

I wish

I wish Preston would quit given way family secrets....Pretty soon everyone is gonna have some Banjo blood and redbones that won't tree will be a thing of the past.... I am always pleased when I go to a hunt and someone says, " heck of a treedog for a redbone, what is she out of? "Banjo blood" is my reply. Of coarse there is some other blood in there to sweeten the pot. Lucas

Yea all the folks who have hunted with those dogs liked them. Loud get gone and get treed fast. it didnt just happen on 1 cross, the crosses were made several times each and it didnt waiver on what it produced. Im not here to convince anyone anything. I just know that I personally liked what I saw and will do my best to keep them around... it takes more than 1 person to do it... Alot of those dogs ended up behind the "barn" but that didnt change how good they were...

FIREBALL'S SUPERCROSS YELLER

Remember her name guys... She's a keeper! Intense tree dog... Squirrels are about to drive insane! Shortly she will be on her way to being a coondog/winner!

Mine is lightly started. Has opened on track, goes hunting nice, trees with the old dog...sits right on his butt at the base of the tree and lets em rip. Coming along.

Banjo's Cat

Another B3 X Hiedi Female finished to Nitech last night with 3 1st place wins. I expect to see Heidi climb way up on the reproducers list as the repeat cross looks to be possibly better than the 1st cross! Way to go to the Owner and Handler of Cat! Team fireball continues! Lol

I have hunted with two of them. Very nice dogs. Kick dirt in your face, loud hard tree dogs, good about having a coon type dogs. Those 3 1st only took two weekend also. Congrats.
