Thanks for posting the pedigree John. He sounded really nice the only night I've had him out. He went step for step with my 7 year old female. Can't wait too get him in the woods every night. I'll keep everyone posted on him and how he's progressing. Good and bad.

Looking Good! Glad he is working out for you.

Just saw on a set of papers that a dog out of Jimmy finished to Night Champion. If anyone knows which female the Night Champion was out of, please let me know. There are a couple of dogs out of Jimmy and Maxy that are close to finishing too. Any reports, good or bad, on Jimmy's pups would be appreciated. Might help someone else make a better cross on down the road by knowing the good and the bad.

Jimmy will be 10 in February so if anyone has a female that they'd like to breed to Jimmy, time is running shorter all the time. Sherill has a litter on the ground now and has some females at his place which should cross really good on Jimmy when they come in heat. Sherill's home number is 256-729-8628 and cell number is 256-874-1294.

Talked to Mr. Sherill today and he said he has 3 pups left out of Jimmy and his Sue female. He also has a litter for sale out of Johny Brown's Rambo and Sherill's older female out of Jimmy & Sue. Sherill also has a female of Johny's that is due the first of the year with Jimmy pups. All of these pups will be Performance and Super Stake eligible. Jimmy is throwing some nice young dogs with brains, big mouths, and natural ability.

Johny Brown's female had 11 pups out of Jimmy but she lost 3 of them. They are 2 weeks old so it won't be long until they are available. Located in Northern Alabama in Athens. Sherill's home number is 256-729-8628 and cell number is 256-874-1294 if interested in a pup from this cross.

Thanks for taking a look at him Gabe. Jimmy is the type of hound that a majority of hunters would like to have on the end of their lead strap. He is out of a great cross that produced multiple titled dogs and above average coon dogs. I am hoping that a few more Good females get bred to him before he is gone. He turns 10 years old this month but is still in excellent health. Jimmy has a lot to offer to produce higher end hounds. If you have any questions about him or what he throws in his pups, feel free to give me a call and you can also tell me a little about your female.

Thanks. I will be in contact with you if I do decide to breed her and I most probably will. I'm a big fan of the Rambo and Smokey River lines. My female is an honest 2nd strike dog and 1st or second tree dog. She usually doesn't dominate a cast, just doesn't make many if any mistakes. Nice mouth' bawl on track nice locate and chop on tree.

Sounds good Gabe. When you are ready just give Sherril a call at 256-874+1294 or 256-729-8628. He will handle all the breeding details. The Smokey River and Rambo blood does do well, however I think the extra thing that made the Clear River Diamond Jim x Clear River Slammer cross special was Oscar Hefley's KC female. I was told by a person who I believe that KC might have possibly been one of the best Bluetick females to ever draw a breath of air. Those words from this particular individual really tolld me a lot about the caliber of female that KC was. KC produced outstanding dogs from both Dancer and his brother Jake. I take no credit for producing any of the dogs in the pedigree of Jimmy but I am taking as much of an advantage of that cross as I can and will continue to do so in the future. A lot of what I read on this board that a lot of Bluetick guys say is needed in the breed is all ready in the dogs from that cross in my opinion.

Jimmy has been checked at the vet and is still good to go to sire some more coon tree'rs. I want to thank Mr. Shrimsher for his belief and commitment to Jimmy, for paying him up in the programs, taking excellent care of him, and offering him for stud. Jimmy turned 10 years old in February so the window of opportunity to breed to him is closing fast.
