We have that, I get an updated list from UKC each year.

I plan to have a phone call campaign the week before the hunt to remind and encourage clubs.

I also hope that Jeffery Robinson's article in BLOODLINES assists us as well.


I can provide the club contact list to folks who want to get into contact with clubs close to them...

Chris, I received some cards to give members but it was not enough for all club members. I don't believe out members need them. All of our members have a ECCHA membership card for 2013 if they are paid up and in good standing.

Bill,

Most clubs do not give out membership cards and this was a way for the clubs to make sure their members would be recognized as NCCHA members at the State event esp if the person taking entries that did not know them or what club they were from. Its so much easier to show a membership card than to question someone and get upset when in doubt about whether the club has paid their dues or not.

It still might be a good idea to use the NCCHA cards to show that the club has paid up membership. Just because clubs give cards they may not join the NCCHA so that could create an issue as well.

I'll let Chris make the call on this one. This is my take on it.

i was thinking about people looking for a club, maybe one nearest to them. where would that person go to view the list of clubs in his state?

Right now you could simply go to the upcoming events section of UKC's website. This would not show all clubs but would give you info on any upcoming events where you could check out a club and meet the members in an informal setting.

We also have a facebook page, this is a great tool to meet new hunters from NC.

Lastly if someone was looking a club they can contact UKC or our State Assn for a listing. I don;t think there is a way to have a club listing on the facebook page? Cynthia has been looking at starting another web page, if that happens I will have the state club listing uploaded to the webpage for access.
