Just bred a female like that. She doesn't have to get deep to get alone, but comes with a coon. If she gets covered she will be in company. If she strikes, she finishes it company or not. But gets alone more than not. Quick, can run out from under the other dogs. Can tree a layup. Or grubb a feed track with a coon on the end. Doesn't open in the same place twice. Not perfect though. She is still a dog! But a real dog. My Sender dog. She has won everywhere she has been since she was nine months old. Still not perfect.
Bred her to her counterpart. A dog that was strong where I thought she needed improvement. No issues there. We will see how they turn out. We have been fortunate enough to breed a couple good ones.

Phydeaux battled repro problems his whole life

I would get him sticking females and he would go bad again

we tried to have him collected and the semen wasn't stout enough to survive freeze and thaw is what the doc said

I would LOVE to own another just like him today.

I did get his half brother, Levi, collected and tried to raise a litter this summer after sitting on it for 15 years. Didn't get pups.

Aw man

That's to bad, phydeaux proved himself worthy back when there were a lot more hunting, when a blue dog did it back then he had to be the real deal, it didn't happen often, is there any Levi semen left....Gerald

Jerrold Parker took a two yr old dog and won high scoring bluetick at the ukc world hunt. Zone hunt forward treed 70% alone with coon. Ran a good track and got treed right but could find the coon in the tree Adjacent tree touching?? Had a coon. A judgement call put him out of a possible final 4. Bo is possum broke. He has a gyp he calls Cindy that he likes better. Cindy is bred to her half brother. The half brother is the sire to Bo. I believe Jerold is serious about making a blue dog that can win.

I've hunted with Hardwood Hammer. From what I saw I wouldn't describe him as what you posted you are looking for in this original post. Not bashing the dog, just saying I didn't see those things out of him.

There is a dog here in Texas named Money that is what you describe. I've hunted with him and he is a loner, fast, and accurate. You can see on the PKC board where he stands in the Texas state race and the bluetick race, in limited hunts. He wins way more than not. I'm pretty sure he has never been bred so don't know if he will reproduce, but guessing chances are better than not if bred to a like female.

He's loaded with speed, loner, frontrunner, and stay power. My question is where is a female exactly like that?

There is a guy in severville Tn (if that’s how you spell it) that had some great reproducing females. I had one of of a grand night female that would tear coons up. I can’t remember his name though.

Luke is making progress in all three areas. He has lots of room for improvement but has ability to improve. He just needs a young fella to hunt him 5 to 7 nights a week.

Larry, King of Hunt at the Reunion and Utchman Memorial 22 months old. Placed at the national hunt I believe 3rd one night and won his cast with 400 or so at zone 1 Marshall hunt last week. Larry gets struck quick and treed quick. Big mouth and was .85 alone last night on the first coon. On top of that he's bred right and a good looking raskle. Congratulations Jimmy
