Mr Bennett we are still looking for a female which is similar in traits to breed. As of now dont have a female in mind. I would like to hear more of the bad traits seen but no one whats to say bad on the computer. What some see as a bad deal maybe something I like. What was your female out of???

Wesley, I have a male out of Bodacious and My Sally Sue female he started when he was about 7months he treed his first coon. I carried him along slowly and put him in some hunts last year. He made Nt Ch with 3 first place wins and got a win to Gr Nt Ch. also granded him on the bench. He was put in 1 htx and passed with no faults. He has a good bawl mouth on track and trees with a hard chop. He almost always has coon when he trees he is very accurate tree dog and will not back another dog if coon is not there. He will split tree a lot from other dogs but will also tree with other dogs. He has always been trash free will not back other dogs on trash. He trees on the tree by himself and will back off if other dogsd are on the tree. He will not stay at the tree with a mean dog but will go and find another track. He has a tendency to shun other dogs if they run trash or tree slick when he is hunting with them. In other words if they do either one he will not check them the rest of the nite but go do his own thing. Some would call it a fault him leaving the tree from a mean dog I dont I would rather him leave than stay and fight and think UKC has rules to eliminate these dogs thast fight and we need to scratch the ones that do. Overall I am very happy with Gr Ch Nt Ch Brewsters A.J. and intend to finish him to dual Grand this year I have made him a performance sire for 2012 and 2013. He won some money from UKC as a performance dog in 2012 and was in the coonhound bloodlines several months for performance points earned.

Just acquired this little female. She has had no opportunity. Has been hunted very little. They say she is LOUD LOUD. DOB is 5/16/08. Great color, good feet and legs, and nice head. Will start putting her in some shows later this month. Will keep u posted on how she hunts when I've had her in the woods some. Bought her just for her pedigree and I'm excited to get started!

Wesley I dont think that went as planned! As far as I could tell nobody has any complaints about ol Bo! I know Bo has quite a few pups and somebody somewhere should've had atleast one cull!

The youngest is about two years. We didnot breed anything the last couple of years because of the heat.

Cakie there is more that got culled than made it. It would be good to know why. He will be 10 in april so time is short.

Old thread but figure I would post anyways. I have had two out of Bodacious. First one is maverick that Chris Gray posted on the page before. The best hound I have hunted. A ton of go, decent mouth, and a hard tree dog. He was looking to get treed when cut. He was right a lot when hunted up but could be wrong a lot too. Right or wrong he treed the same, HARD. He jacked the tree a lot. Wasn’t mean. Never left a tree when I hunted him. Would leave a hole because he knew what was comin. Loved armadillos until the day he died at 9. Would really get away from a babbling dog. Gave decent mouth. Never wide open. Could wind. Nice lay up hound. I really enjoyed him. He reproduced some pretty nice hounds. Still have 3 straws on him. He has a littermate still alive that I hear is a real nice hound. Named Champ owned by mr Robles in north Texas.

The second hound is a female I have here at the house. Zee. Her momma was nitech flatwood blue sissy. She is a decent looking female. Nothing spectacular but a good looking hound. She is 8 now. Decent mouth before she barked herself out in a kennel. Prefers a chain. Gives a lot of mouth on the ground. Nice track dog and big hunt. Pretty independent female. Will wind. Never had her just come treed. First night I took her I picked her up at a mile by herself, not treed. She is not a hard tree dog. Off the tree kind of dog. Chops and short bawls. But stays unless a possum.( knows what’s coming)Seems like she likes to run track more than tree. Absolutely hates a coon. Great kill dog. Pretty good size female. A lot of heart.
