Ace won 4 hunts in 6 weeks beating close to 900 dogs yeah Id feed him again. Never seen him take a second tree hunted him over 3000 nites tuffest dog ever drew w him Davis's Scooter Rick Jordon .

Seen Rick at Holmesville last year and I asked if he remembered my score fri nite he said I dont know but Scooter had 975 plus and Ace beat him.

Cheaper to feed the good ones.

I only hunted with Prarie Fork Duke once, but he looked really good that night.

I had another serious competition hunter, that did hunt with Duke a lot, tell me, "If my life depended on treeing a coon when the leads un-snapped, I would want Duke to be the dog at the end of the leash. If its a bad night you are gonna walk a long ways, but he will tree a coon."

Duke was out of Jet IV and Smiths night time Joy (pretty sure on that).

your right on the nitetime joy, kevin. i believe she was ole horn blower x jet 2 female. duke was a real nice coondog, i didn't get to hunt with him until he had some age on him( he was 9 ) but he still had plenty of go and loved to compete. hunting by himself he was pretty open on track, but turn him loose with another dog and he got pretty tight.

Prairie Fork Duke?....... Yeah I may be a little kennel blind with my "Reaf" dog I got here. (goes back to Duke). I got Reaf's Momma from Harry T. as a pup. If you turn him loose, you will not see him again till he is treed............ as close to Jet 4 you can get the better IMO.............. Jon

it's intresting to see dogs that weren't famous or heavly used studs that show up in ped.'s of dogs that became famous. example is frank erwins mighty blue magnum. magnum was a really nice coondog that wasn't a world famous stud, but if you flip through the hall of fame dogs in the blue book you will find him in two hall of fame ped.

The one I had out of IV and Joy could have been more accurate, but a better pressure tree dog never lived. Shot a coon out to a dog split about 10 steps from her and she never missed a bark. I honestly think you could have run a pack of fox dogs out by her and she would have never knew they existed. The Jet IV dogs that I hunted with were all pressure tree dogs.

I sold Lady to Rick Meyer and Henry Miller...they lived in northern Missouri...she had two firsts on her when I sold her....part of the purchase price was a pup out of GrNiteCh Northern Blue Curley and GrNiteCh Guse's Southern Blue Mae....that pup was sure going to be something special and I lost her. I bought my first tracking system because of her and lost her before the tracker got shipped to me. She was 10 months old and had a male dog mouth and was a real tree dog.

The Jet IV stuff was for real.
