"Fair share" is a code word for socialism. To the libs the primary purpose of goverment is the redistribution of wealth. So the 47% Romney was talking about pay no taxes and the middle class carry the load for everyone. People say the poor pay taxes but thanks to the invention of the Earned Income Credit the poor get back more of a refund than they paid. That means they pay $0 federal taxes. Take from us and give to them!

Think about it.

If they outlaw AR's they should outlaw Corvette's too.

and all these legal immigrants and the illegals that bought black market green cards and other cards got $ 5000 back at the same household 5 times for the past 25 years filing the same children under different names, no wonder they drive new vehicles and pay a house off in three years. running this country in the ground, and laughing about it. seen this crap for close to 25 years, and nothing done about it.

I know a little about assault weapons and how to use them. I am a combat veteran. The assault weapon in the picture is an M-60. It works on the same principal as my 10/22. Do you think folks should be allowed to own M-60s?

http://s3.beta.photobucket.com/user...685183167586784

I have a semi-automatic .223, I don't need an assault weapon. It works fine on coyotes and ground hogs also.

As for the clips, I have a 30 round clip for my 10/22. It is junk. i would not mind getting rid of it. Most clips over 10 rounds are junk. In Nam, we used to tape 2 clips together and flip them when empty. Anyone that has used an assault weapon in combat will tell you that you can get more done firing 2-3 rounds at a time on semi-automatic than 30 rounds at a time on automatic.

I always preferred an M-79 grenade launcher. Close counts! Do civilians need grenade launchers? Where do you draw the line?

Evidently you don't know as much as you think !

The "Assault" rifles they are talking about are just semi-auto's , just like what you say you own , that "look" like military rifles.
So that means that your .223 should be banned also !

They can't have it both ways, armed officers in schools and pay no taxes to pay for it.

The NRA sucks.

AMENDMENT II

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Would a "well regulated militia" need a "assault weapon". I would say so.
Militia definition
1. An army composed of ordinary citizens rather than professional soldiers.
2. A military force that is not part of a regular army and is subject to call for service in an emergency.

Dave how about looking up the definition of the last word in the 2nd amendment.....Main Entry: in·fringe·ment
Pronunciation: \in-ˈfrinj-mənt\
Function: noun
Date: 1628
1 : the act of infringing : violation
2 : an encroachment or trespass on a right or privilege

Is telling us what kind of gun, clip size, etc an infringement?

Dave Haugh was a Seabee ... not a soldier , he tried lying about years ago and got busted ... he just lays low for awhile or gets banned and comes back telling the same old lies to a new crop .

I don't know where the folks that are always trying to jack with others over what guns they own , what they do with their dogs or whatever ... can come up with all that free time .

I think it's about as nerdy as you can get to have a .22 or .223 that's made to look like a soldier's gun ... it's like marketing to grownups that are still playing army like they did as kids ... but it's not my job to stop a nerd from pursuing his dreams ...

But the anti's , politicians and Dave haugh don't care about being right .... they just want to feel important and jack with folks so you can't reason with em' ... which goes back to why we have the 2nd Ammendment in the first place , lol ... click , click ..boom! is often the best , last word in any argument ...

Correct, Dave Haugh was a Seabee. Also correct, Dave Haugh is a combat veteran and the proof is in my records, I was awarded the Combat Action Ribbon. The Combat Action Ribbon is only awarded to veterans who were in combat. Seabees are trained to use assault weapons, I was trained at Camp Pendleton, California , and I was in combat situations in Viet Nam. This picture proves it. My job at the time the picture was taken was to shoot to kill any communist that appeared in any area in the backround of the picture. We had 3 Cobra gunships firing rockets and miniguns at folks who were trying to kill me in the backround area of the picture one night.

http://s3.beta.photobucket.com/user...119423273450857

No, I wasn't a grunt Marine but I served on many fire bases with a lot of grunt Marines. Dirty probably doesn't know what a fire base is or what a grunt Marine is, let alone what a Seabee is or does. I doubt if he ever served. If he did, he wouldn't be making stupid statements like he did his last message.

Do I need an M-60 to defend myself? NO. Do I need an AR-15 to protect myself ? NO. I don't need an assault weapon or a 30 round clip? NO Do I need the NRA? NO

Who is Manti Teo ? What does he have to do with assault weapons?

The picture is yours truely and was taken at Phu Loc, Viet Nam. At the time the picture was taken, that bunker WAS my home and I was using assault weapons to defend it. An M-60 is a grade A assault weapon preferred by many.

As I stated before, I had my assault weapon training at Camp Pendleton, where they are famous for seperating the men from the boys. They only need a few good men. I doubt if many of you would make the grade. If you like assault weapons, join the Marines. They will ship you real quick to a place you will need assault weapons and you can use them to your heart's delight (for as long as you last).

Rocky Dog is correct, the NRA supports the corporate thieves.

For a union man, seems you crossed craft lines in the military.

The question would be
Do I need an M60 to assault someone? Do I need an AR15 to assault someone? The FBI website makes it clear fists and feet are far and away the most favored assault 'tools'.
Now my question would be: If someone comes at you with a knife, would you want equal or greater for your DEFENSE weapon?

If you say equal, I would question your mental competency.

So this country should have folk running with grenade launchers and nukes? So if fist and feet most favor assalt 'tools', then a knife is all you need by your own research.
