Ron, I will look a little closer. I maybe missing something, if I am I will be the 1st to admit it. The one I had was pretty bright but I just thought the head looked to big for me.

Settle down there MANIAC, all I was saying was the sunfire is plenty bright FOR ME, and If I cant find a coon with it then I need a new dog, not a new light...Are you dating mike kelly or something bud? Getting awfully offended, and I didnt say anything bad about the light, you or your dogs. But if you want me to make you mad I will, its a 60 chinese ebay light, slapped on the worlds most uncomfortable western river helmet, and you paid 275.00 for it, I would be proud of it too. Did ya see the post above that said someone else seen it from thier chinese distributor? When K-Light starts making their own light, I MAY try one then. But when my buddy that isnt even a light builder can tell me more about an LED light than the man making it, thats an issue to me.....You show me one tree the sunfire cant shine, and I will buy you all the K lights you can handle.

To add to my above post...Im not sitting here saying the sunfire is hands downb the best light on the market, but I can say its the best I have used or seen. And I have used the LT2, the LT pro, the Sunspot, VC pro cap light, Crystal light, blazer, moonshiner, bandit,noturnal addict most of them EXCEPT a K-light, so i cant speak on brightness of the Beacon..But i can tell you this...I wont believe for one second that the beacon is anywhere close to the craftsmanship the Sunfire is made with....Sunfire makes it look like a toy at the dollar store when it comes to quality of being made and qaulity of parts, i can tell that much from the picture. Beacon maybe the brightest of them all, but I will keep my sunfire. How much is Mike paying you? If he isnt, you need to talk to him about that.

I always figure a man has a right to his opinion, but unless your treein coon in them californis redwoods sayin the sunfire wont light up the tops of the tallest trees just plain isnt being honest.

Jay, here is your Beacon light, only with a black beazal instead of a maroon one. Same light, same battery pack, same 3 click mode until K light changed it to a 5 click. Look closely at the battery pack, its exactly the same as the Beacon light from the shape, to the placement of the charging port, to the shape of the bumper around the botton of the cord going into the battery pack

Thought u was saying i needed a new dog. Im happy u like your sunfire as far as mike paying me he pays me nothing. Mike take care of all of us fellow coon hunter he stands bhind all his products thats why he is still in business and some others r not!iv own a k-light for 7 years and never had a problem. Ik there have been some problems with some of them but if u get on the ph and call them they will take care of it with no ? Ask! And ik no for sure k lights r not the only one that has some problems with lights sometimes but they take care of them with no ? Ask like a business should and that should mean alot to the fellow coonhunters

beacon k light

i dont know alot details about any light but i have owned several top brand lights and i got to use abeacon the other nite that s.o.b was brite and i mean brite when i first seen the head i thought it would be heavy in the front but its not its very well balanced the beacon has my vote after christmas i will be getting me one
