So sad to hear this. Last time I spoke with Teague he mostly talked about his boys. It was obvious he was very proud of them and pretty much hung up his dog lead to be able to spend all his time with them and their sports.

I didn't know Jeff, but was really saddened to read this yesterday. It reminded me of an issue of Bloodlines from March 2006 that is one of two issues that I have on my nightstand. It was the Winter Classic issue and had Jeff on the cover and a good article inside about their last couple years at the Winter Classic with the Jet dogs.

I pray with mourning for Jeff's family, especially his young sons who are now dealing with the unanswerable question; why?

Prayers up for the Teague family. As many others have said he was a great family man and an awesome friend! He has always been there even at times either one of us was out of hounds at times. Welcomed me into his home anytime I was in Michigan and was there at some of my best AND some of my WORST times. But no matter good or bad always "had my back"! I will miss him greatly as will many others I'm sure! He was a true friend to many, a winner, ( no matter what it was) and a great father and husband who's family was his pride and joy! RIP Big Man
