No pups off him in about 2 years now.There are very few pups off him,only 35 to start with and several off them are dead now.My son-in-law has a blue female off him and a 1/2 sister to Zues,she was 2 in March.She's a littermate to the 1 Joseph Cooper has in Oklahoma.2 of the pups out of that litter were stolen,1 off the tree,1 from her kennel.The other female from that litter is in Florida.

Zues is the only English dog on my yard now,the rest are Kemmer curs and 1 Plott male pup.

He's done.I don't see where GRNT will benefit him or me in any way.The leg hasn't effected his ability to tree coons,don't slow him down any that I can tell either.I seriously doubt I'll ever attend another UKC hunt.Zues being 7 1/2 years old and the only UKC dog I own I guess I'm done too.I've always said when it's not fun any more I'd quit,last hunt the kids attended at Altoona they got shafted so bad they swore they'd never go again.I hope the SOB that left John in the woods don't ever meet his daddy.

We hunt OMCBA/KSBA curs now.

Thinking about breeding Zues to 1 of his daughters,like they do Kemmer curs.Female is off Zues and Jolly[Candy]Jolly is also a 1/2 sister to Zues.Anybody want a pup?

Hey Alan I had a male out of Zeus that was a treeing machine that was pretty good about having the meat. I loved him. Unfortunately I lost him this past season to a car hit. I would own another.

Best cross I know of off High Bawl.It don't matter to me if your dog was off Bawl or Zues,it's all the same to me.Bawl is the reason I switched over to English dogs and got rid of them deer runnin,slick treein Walkers.Zues is by far the best hound I've ever owned.Before Zues broke his leg there was not a dog alive that could beat him in a water race or field trial.I've got 19 1st places and 2 Alabama State championship to prove that.I'd bet there's very very few that could hang with him now at 8 years old with the broke leg.
I don't think Zues will ever be bred again unless it's to 1 of my Cur females.Eric has 2 young males off Bawl just right to start,1 red,1 blue,both have that huge thunderin Bawl mouth.The kind of mouth that makes the hair on the back of your neck crawl.

Sounds just like my old dog that got ran over. And he could swim like no other around here. Won a couple water races with him and was working on putting a title on him.
