Pup update
I have talked to several owners of Jack pups here lately. I have heard several good reports on these pups. Few pups under 6 months old have been running loose. These pups have been running tracks and treeing some. There are two 11 month old males in Alabama that are doing a very good job treeing coon. There is also a 15 month old male and female in Alabama that are doing outstanding. I have a 17 month old female that wasn't really fooled with until she was 11 months old, she is really coming along well(outstanding tree dog) and likes to be by herself. Three -17 month old males that are doing very well treeing coons night after night(by themselves or in company). A 15 month old male that is doing a good job consistently treeing coons, and is getting better each time out. A 17 month old female in Alabama that is turning the crank(outstanding tree dog), has been hunted in tough company and impressed. 28 month old male I own, continues to tree coons in all conditions I put him in. A 5 -1/2 month old male treed his 1st own coon a few days ago. A 11 month old male been running and treeing several coon for a while now(they have talked of putting him in some hunts but have not yet). These are just some of Jack's pups that I have gotten recent reports on. If you have a Jack pup give me a call and let me know how they are doing and what female they are from, I would appreciate it. This info will help us with the future breedings on Jack. I will continue to post reports on Jack pups, as I get them. The Jack pups accomplishments list, which is the first post on this thread(top of page 1), I continue to update as information becomes available to me. There was only a couple of litters from Jack that were born before May 2011. Most of those pups landed in the hands of hide hunters/pleasure hunters. From what I hear about some of those pups is they like them alot and won't sell them.(attempts have been made to buy a few of them). Most of Jack's pups are young and still coming of age. There have been a few of Jack's pups that I personally know about ,that very serious offers were made and were turned down without hesitation.Jack is a 2012(will be a 2013) UKC Performance Sire and is a PKC Super Stake Sire for all of 2013. Jack will be 7 in November. If your interested in a pup ,there will be pups available out of Jack around February. We would like to see Jack's pups go to competition hunters, but also recognize that pleasure hunters need a good hound too. (I'm manly a pleasure hunter myself). If your interested in breeding your fine female to Jack, negative brucellosis/$250 stud fee. Contact Mike Dunn 256-736-3803 or Chris Briner 618-553-4754. We have been asked about "fresh chilled semen", this is something we are looking into and hope to make available. As always if you have any questions please feel free to call. Mike and Myself thank you for your interest.
