Here in town it dropped to $3.389 two weeks ago. Went back up to $3.579 last week.

Not long ago, Obama stated that he had no control over the high gas prices. I bet he will try to take credit for it going down some. Don't be deceived by the lowering of these prices because if he goes back in, they will sky rocket. Obama's Energy Sec. made the statement that gas should be at around 10.00 per gallon and it may happen if he goes back in. If we want gas prices to stay down, we need to open up the pipe line and do more drilling here. That is Romney's plan. I WILL BE VOTING FOR ROMNEY IN 2012!!!!

Supply and demand doesn't have anything to do with gas prices in USA. Futures controlls the price pretty much.
What is sick is the fact that $2.99 is considered cheap in the country that has more gas than any were else in the world and I use to buy it for .43 cents a gallon.
