The good bad and indifferent ... the bad is I really messed up. I did something so stupid I will not admit to it.lol I ended up barely having enough ammo. The good is I finally got it dailed in to shot a 4 shot group that measured 0.687 inches. Yep, 4 shots is an unusual group, but they were my last four shells.lol Three shots were touching and I had one flyer that increased the group size. The closest shot to dead center was 7/16" away at the 7 o'clock position. Oh ya , I ended up sighting it in at 100 feet. I would post the target, but I can't remember my hunt101 password.

I really think I am going to like this new gun ... well after I buy some new ammo.lol

Larry

If you really enjoy plinking, you need to go and get ya one of the new Walther p22's, with the 5 inch barrel. I also love shooting. This is the most accurate auto loading pistol I have put in my hands, and is not even a target pistol. It is even available with the laser. It will out shoot any target model made. I have even gone to the trouble of getting all my hounds used to it. I have shot dozens of coon out with it. Average cost with laser is around $375.00. Just thought I would share this with you.

I do my preliminary sighting in at 12 1/2 yards, and check it at 50 yards. I do it using a rest and a sand bag. I try to get three shots as nearly in the same hole as possible at 12 1/2 yards. The group will be about .5 inches high at 50 yards and about dead on at 85 yards and about 2 in low at 100. I can hit a squirrel in the head anywhere in that range if the wind is calm. I think that would take care of anything I wanted to shoot at with a .22 day or night. keep in mind this is a Blueticker's method. Might not work for Walkers hunters!
