How can you make statements about people's motives without ever meeting them? Have you ever purchased dogs or pups that were advertised on here or in the magazines? That's not truth, or any resemblence of it.

Here is a statistic for you. Everything that comes out of your mouth is 100% BULLSHEET!!!

We guarantee our pups

for 1 year. If the new owner isn't happy with the way the dog is learning, or not hunting at all by then, we will replace or give money back if no pup is available.
I recently had a pup pass away that we had sold. We are replacing that pup with her sister.
I also keep track of the pups if I can , and ask a couple times a year how the pups are doing.

This summer we had someone call when the pup was 14 months old and tell me the dog won't hunt. They didn't realize that we had checked on the pup a few months prior and found out they were keeping the pup in a 4 foot wide, 2 foot high chicken coop and had never been out to the woods. (we also sold a pup to one of their friends)The dogs growth had been stunted terribly, we told them we knew of how the dog had been raised, and it was over the year, so no, we would not replace it.

They never argued with us when we told them what we already knew.

It is a shame too, for this hound was out of the Rambo line and also 1 of the first performance pups on the ground.

There are guarantees and then their are dishonest people trying to get something for nothing.

I also know that Ervin Hunsucker is a man of his word when he guarantees his pups and Mike Lorenzo also. So, Sheep, it is not uncommon for us small time breeders to do right by their customers.

Sheep I don't think you have had bad expiriences with hounds being bough. It sounds more like you are a piss poor trainer and would rather blame the breeder rather than the trainer.

pup

im not saying a breeder should or shouldn't give me a pup or my money back. i was wondering what happened in similar circumstances. the pup i have here has parvo. i have had coondogs dogs here for 15 yrs and never had parvo. he might have contracted it from the air or something else. and who ever said $hit happens was right. and SHEEP talk $hit on your own posts thanks. THANKS CRAIG INEICHEN

I don't believe in giving any kind of guarantee .... buyer beware says it all.

If a hunter can find pups from a litter out of good hunting stock that seem healthy then you ought to be glad and take your chances .... if you get took just chalk it up as tuition to coondog college or something.
