Grady, THAT kind of aggression was the reason I fixed my female, and will never own another one. She is as gritty as you could want, BUT not towards tame cats, other dogs or people. She has killed quite a few coon, a bunch of wild tom cats around the house, fought coyotes, bobcats and bayed a mountain lion once. You can get a very gritty one but they must be controllable or they will be a liability. Imo....
Yep we had a child day care at the same time as the jagd's. Never any problem with kids, our cat or our dogs once they new not to but when you bring a new one in you better keep it safe for a while and not let it any were near a bitch in heat. I loved the agression. Just couldn't bring it to town. LOL
I kept 3 of them in the house and Joe was one of them. Tabby was another I had kids in the house of all ages, parents comeing and goingand never a problem. Now a parent wouldn't want to hit a kid there. Thee arm would look like a cloths line of jagd's. LOL They are very controlable for people that can train a high drive dog.
