I pleasure hunted with Allen and Warrior one night. That night Warrior looked EXTREMELY good. I really liked what I saw that night anyway. Very nice mouth,could work a track nice and a very nice dog on the tree. That was on a cold full moon night during season also.

Never personally had the pleasure to enjoy him yet, but alot of my friends have hunted with him and competed against him and I've not heard anyone say one bad word about Alan or Warrior. He's supposed to be tough and gets by heself, the kind I like, and your right its hard for a breed other than a Walker to get high in the state standings, kind of the reason we really pushed our Plott female in the fall and winter, she trees real live coons and gets by herself, and if their there you'll find em! You won't ever see Alan bragging or blowing smoke thats why people like him, he and Rusty seem alot alike and I'm sure your a nice guy too Ultra mag, and Randy he's quite nice as are 99.9% of the English guys. By the way you fellas I'm looking for a nice young female English dog out of some of ya'lls breeding.

The way you decribed Andy is good stuff when considering a stud dog. Hot nose , cold nose , hunts deep , hunts close , hard tree dog , steady tree dog , independent ,etc. Sounds like the Andy dog is a well balanced hound. Is he putting these same traits in his pups?

Thank you very much for your input on Dixie. I have to actualy back up a little on the poor dog lol. She now , after been hunted pretty hard has a DISTINCT locate.It sure isnt a chop any more. Its this screaming squall like I aint never heard. Sounds like a mountain lion with his tail caught in a grinder . I agree with you ,as far as not breeding her to an over-powering tree dog. She has enough of THAT. She also opens quick. If this is the kind of dog you and yours throw then I would recomend them.And let me tell you man have I LOOKED!!whew. and looked,and culled. Has been kind of disgusting in fact. When I purchased her the very nice young fellow who had her offered to show her in the woods ( plus for him) told the EXACT truth about her ( more plus points) and didnt make alot of excuses when she did screw up. I am VERY pleased and will let you know of her progress.Thanks for all the hard work cause I KNOW a good breeding program takes alot of time effort and money. And yes Im DEF. gonna go hunting with Andy.
