i could be wrong but i think the rules say you are allowed to have the garmin on the dog but not allowed to use it till the hunt is over to find the dog just like in the competion hunts. its a great training tool but dont use it in the hunts. if a dog makes one bark off the tree trailing he is no longer treed so take your minus points and enjoy the rest of the hunt like a honest person
