Is it on a rheostat or click switch? Hat or belt? Cat eye option? Burn time?

I am still looking for a light myself, I do not like the lights with the rheostat, like others have mentioned, to touchy and hard to adjust on the low end.

From what I have seen of the Boss light with cats eyes I like very well with the exception of the rheostat. Customer service was great as well.

I have been leaning toward gettining the Boss mini belt, but it is a little spendy and I am not sure how balanced the hard hat will be without the battery on the back of it like the hat light to offset the head.

Also I noticed with many of the new led hat lights they seem to cause my VHF radio (marine radio / ham radio) to squelch, have been told that all hat lights do that, just wonderin about the belt lights, not jsut boss, but other brands.

Anyone know or have any input on hat balance or squelch problems with the boss mini belt light.
12v Boss Super Lite with Boss Commander “Cats Eye” Head

Light packages come with 12v battery pack, 5 position click switch. Boss Commander Head with Cats Eye in you choice or color. Red, Green or Amber!! Soft Cap or Bump cap along with charger and belt.

Burn Times
Position 5 (high) - 4 hours
Position 4 - 8 hours
Position 3 - 14 hours
Position 2 - 30+ hours
Position 1 - 40+ hours

There are several differences in the 12v Super Lite and the 24v Super Lite.

Size and Weight are reduced in both the head and battery pack. The Head is the NEW “Boss Commander” which has five white LED’s along with one colored LED. The head has been shortened almost 1/2 inch and a few more ounces has been taken off the battery pack.
Brightness seems to me the number one question and for a light this size and price range it out shines most and competes with any of them.
Burn times are exceptional with the light burning 4 hours on high, 8 hours on position 4 and over 14 hours on position 3 with positions 1 and 2 we are talking days not hours.
The battery pack is small and lightweight and can be placed on a belt or slipped into your pocket.
The head is lightweight and works well on soft cap, bump cap or on neck strap.

Total Light Package is $250
Boss light

I have one and my fiancé's dad (den) has one his has the red cats eye mine as a green I think the red is better myself, and will prob be try to trade mine in. But den sold a valley creek mini pro, to get his and as soon as I hunted with him i sold pro light gold 21g2 to get one. As far as which one is better I would say it's a matter of personal opinion. But I'm sold on em and i think one of my buddies that's just starting is going to get him one of there new 12 volts real soon.
