if you're smart you're going to have a hobby, hopefully two. one for big blocks of time and one for filler. otherwise you'll watch a lot of tv or work. i'm a one hobby person. it all or nothing for me. i used to run for fun. i ran all over the country, wherever i went on a trip or campimg i went running. then i got into bicycling and did the same thing. then it was physical fitness, two hours a day, 5 days a week. what a waste of time. now i'm into hunting with dogs. that's all i do and i do it most nights. think of this, work is means to an end, like money for a living. play, as in hunting, is an end in itself. i've gotten so that i don't care to kill stuff. but i still love my dogs and enjoy their excitement. they mostly chase fox and that's ok, i don't have to or get to go into the swamps and don't have to kill anything.
but you've got to have a hobby. smart people try this or that until they find something they like. others just eat, drink, watch tv, work around the house, clean out the rain gutters, watch the grass grow, etc, etc..
jason, see your doctor, tell him you're depressed. he'll give you a script for an antidepressant. that'll fix you up. seriously.
