What is the directions to the club or where the show/hunt will be held? Or is it going to be held at the Haughton club? Thanks

If I read correctly there are 104 dogs advancing to the finals. I wonder how many of those will show up? So if they all show does that mean they will have 25 casts to send to the woods at one time? If so that should be interesting around here.

I've always said some of your toughest hounds come from the south. Don't take much of a dog to tree coon in patch woods around cornfields and golf courses. They might actually have to be a coondog. And yes, they better be broke off Dillers.

You are incorrect, it's called River Park Church. It used to be Hamels amusement park, which closed years ago. A church has the facility now. Charles and Marie Hamel Memorial Park is a city park located a mile or so from there.

David, the conditions should be pretty good with the rain we're getting and the low temps being in the 50's. I guess you guys have some good spots lined up? With the slam hunts and the finals together, you're gonna need a bunch of em.

numbers

The big night for the World will be Thursday. Friday will be considerably less. Saturday will only be four in World Hunt. Probably be around 100 or less in the slam Friday and Saturday nights.

Hunt

The advantage will go to the more Honist Strike dogs in the thinner coons, dogs will have to hunt more and trail more depending on the conditions. may be lots of minises this trip
The babblers will have to me too, to stay in the hunt i love it !!
Good luck to the real coon dogs !!

I have kids that love to pleasure hunt but have never been to anything like this. What is there to see and do at a hunt like this. I'm not talking about going on a cast but venders and are you able to walk around and look at The dogs.

You southern folks

are going to jenz yourself ( Pardon my spelling ) if you keep talking about those northern dogs. Your forgetting about Mr. Clean and his handler. Remember Big D winning it a few years ago. Also Ukc aint going to put the final cast in a hell hole, they have to much to loose. They want a plus point cast winner and don't be surprised if most of the final four aint from your northern states. A coon dog is a Coon dog and thats the facts.

If it was as bad as some say, there wouldnt be a dog alive in the South. Good dogs, south and north. May not be as high of score as some places up north, but I am sure the hunters will be put in coon. I will say it again, more dogs are killed by asphault in a month then by gators or snakes in years.
