My friend has a letter on it they opened up in jan.but for the first year they had bad restrictions,they cannot have a blind,cripple or poor horse and they can only give 15cent a pound.but alot of this will be dropped after the first year so jan there prices should start to get back to what they once was.

There was a dogwood plant near St.Louis Mo that took flak years ago for using dogs and cats that were put to sleep. Pets were starting to get sick and it was traced to the chemical used to put animals down. That's how the law found out. I will scan a copy of the article in the next few days.

What people dont realize is that Govt. {Obama} only lifted the slaughter on horses on a year by year signiture. other wise at the end of each year the slaughter ban will have to be signed off on for approval or the slaughter ban will again be in affect. Once your Govt. gets rid of or thins the 30,000 + wild horses they are paying ranchers to care for the ban will be reissued and everyone will suffer again. This is only a Govt ploy to benefit them and will be over soon but I hope not.

40 people lost their jobs when they shut down the one in a community near me. Glad it's starting back up again.
