To the 2 gentlemen for doing the google work ,,,boys im not going to argue with you all i know is i bought rationed gas for a new 74 Chevy Nova that i bought in 73,, and there is what 535 fools setting =on Capitol Hill ,,We The People ,Need to clean house when we can and take OUR Country back,,,now i will get off the soap box ,,,,,NEXT ,,,lol

Here in MN I was able to buy gas any time I wanted. The only time there was anything was in 79 when some stations would only sell you $10 at a time. But you could drive around the block and come back and buy $10 more or go to the next station. I never faced a even or odd day thing.
But then I lived in a small farming community and bought my gas at a farmers co-op station.

well well. oil prices at an all time high, and we want to go back to 1973 to place the blame. shame on us. who in their right minds can blame anybody for our mess we have in the here and now, but us? Chuck says there are 535 nuts running the gov. He is right, but he missed it by one. He forgot to count the chief idiot. we need to each and everyone of us, stop looking to lay blame and stand up to be counted. It is our mess, and yes, we carry the brooms to sweep it up and clean the house. Our fore fathers had the wisdom to see ahead and knew that times such as these would come. The wrote that document called the constitution, that gives each of us the ability to stand up and be counted. If you and i don't like what is happening, do something positive to change it. yes, it requires us to get off our lazy behinds and go down to the voting poll, stand in line, and wait, but at least we are trying to fix a problem that is killing us all in the pocket books.
obama truly believes that America should be paying the prices the Europeans are paying. $5.00 per gallon. He wants prices that high so folks will stay home and not go vote, because they can only afford, and fast getting there, to go to work and home. Its in his grand plan to become a dictator of sorts, and yes, should you choose to stay home, you are ensuring we get 4 more years of mr. dumb!!!!!Heres what you should do. Call the democrats that are offering rides to the polls. They'll come pick you up. Use their gas to get to the polls, vote for anybody but obama, and smile as they carry you back home, knowing you have done your part to ensure that we get to drill here and run pipelines here. obama thinks we are all stupid, and that we can not see through his grand plan. Well, we are if we don't do our duty to this country and vote him out!!! Run the pipeline he blocked. Drill for our oil in Alaska, tie it into the pipelines, and drive our oil prices down. Simple? Yes!! By the way, all those other 535 fruit cakes that can't seem to hear our voices, put them packing too, and we'll see some postive change. Yep. One promise old nutty made in 2008 before elected has came true. We saw some change. All of it going out my pockets and into somebody elses. Lets show ole stupid some change. Its not to late to send him and those like him packing. DO YOUR DUTY!! GO VOTE!!

I think it is stupid that the USA is giving Russia those alaskan islands. Now I bet Russia will be drilling for oil on and all around that area. Since Obama said to the Russian president that he will have more "flexibility" after the election, you can only imagine what no he'll be giving away.
