ROBERT

Robert what kind coon do you have? you have a lot of coon in your area.
A lot of people don't understand were you have more coon the pups have more of a chance to get started easyer then like here. Are coon hunting is very poor here in my area, if you tree two or more with a good dog a night you have a good night. That is Y I have been trying to find some good places to hunt in Ohio and Ky.

we dont have a large population this year we have to hunt alot of water and swampy area and lots of tree tops dont get me wrong its not bad just not great

grch.franklins alnight memphis queen #6 ukc reproducers list.
she is due in heat any time.

as of right now only 1 female is bred to ugly. she's due to have pups 1st of febuary. he took 10 deposits on them pups.

i'd say if we dont get something bred in the next 2 weeks no there will be no ugly puppies at b&t days.

Jim / Robert , keep me posted if you do breed Ugly to something MIGHT have a couple guys in N.C wanting a pup at B&T Days. I told them I could pick them up for them . Then they can pick'em up at my house.

jamie & edge

edge is 14 months old out of ugly & puke box annie. jamie & edge are going to be a team this year in the hunts. i'm really proud of jamie he's dedicated to coon hunting & getting all he can get out of edge in the woods !! edge is owned by jamie & myself. this is jamie's project & i think we'l see these two in the winners circle this year.

cooter (ugly X getto queen)

cooter's owned by wade clopton. with cooter starting to run & tree that makes all 5 pups in this litter on their way. this pup can jar the ground when he barks. got a long way to go but he's gettin there.

i doubt if i'l breed getto queen till spring 2013.

ugly's a pretty good track dog. he can work up the old feed tracks & come up with a coon & not take all night to do it. plenty of speed on a moving track. all bawl mouth on track (i'v never heard a chop out of him on any track). he's got a big long locate & will locate for 2 or 3 minutes getting shorter all the time till he settles into a steady chop on tree. can tree him on one locate. he hunts in a run but rarely ever has to hunt over half mile to strike a track in our area but dont straight line hunt. he hunts his way in the country. ugly really is an enjoyable dog to hunt. dont do to much wrong but he does have his nights that he might look like a $2 trade dog just like all dogs. but not very often.

most of uglys pups that i have hunted with are very good track dogs & impressive treedogs. very good mouths, hunt hard & in a run. start very early with lean good looks. very well mannered & quit in the kennel.

the bad on uglys pups.
i tell everybody that gets a ugly pup or calls about pups that the junk comes with um. most are very high strung & the deer runnin comes with them. dont seem to be bad on other fast game, just deer. you dry hole um they're gona do something !! have not had or seen one yet that goes lookin for deer but will run one if they cant find a coon track. i have one now that i have been braking off deer but have not had to brake any others that i'v started. they'l just quit foolin with them if you keep um in coons.

thats about the best i can do to discribe ugly & his pups for ya. your welcome any time to hunt with ugly & his pups. call any time if you have any questions.

Jim I was wondering where my pup got the tan on top of his ears at? Its not alot or anything just when he holds his head just right. I seen the picture of Cooter, and notice he had the tan too. So I thought that would be good time to ask you.
