I hunt with the White Lightning and love it but will probubly get a Sun Spot for my next light. To be able to take it off and on lets you do sooooooooo many other things besides just hunt. I love haveing one I can throw on my head and run when somthing is going on out side or working on the truck. Just nice to be able to throw it in the truck for differant things.
The only down side to me is the burn time on them. I like to have one that will burn most of the night on high just incase I fall and can't get up. LOL

I did to but to be honest I knew it wasn't the brightest light out there when I bought it. It's built well and is very convenient for me to use .

I expected more and from what I seen out of it, it is not what I'm looking for. I'd like to see another one in action though, but unless my second impression is better, I'm going to pass on it.
trust me the sunspot light in WAY brighter than the smart light

Ok I own the Smart Lite, the SunSpot and The Boss as well as the 6 LED head from Brite Eyes on my 28 volt belt light.

The Smart Lite is a good light but you won't even be able to tell it's on if you compared it to the other ones. There is that big of a difference.

The Sunspot is extremely bright and lights up the whole tree, but you give up a little bit on those really tall trees.

The Boss is extremely bright as well and it has the catseye so no need for a pop cover. It's spot is tighter so you don't give up anything on those tall trees.

In all my 6 LED head from Brite Eyes on my 28 volt belt light is the brightest one but it's not much and I haven't found any other light as bright as it. You don't need a spot light with it.

That said, both the Boss and the Sunspot are very close to it. Close enough that since I got them I haven't used my belt light again.

I use one of those two cap lights.

You can't go wrong with either one of them.

I would like to see a Laser Torch now though just to compare them to the Sunspot and the Boss. I would be suprised if it is as bright as them, but I was suprised those two were nearly as bright as my belt light too LOL.

I think you would be happy with either the Sunspot or the Boss. Both of them are excellent lights and I personally use both of them over using my big belt light.

cap light

I have the LEM light and the Smart light. I prefer the LEM for brightness but the Smartlight has a better dimmer light for finding the coon.
