Man we have come a long way in AMERICA when some people can be lead to believe anything. the big w/m is going to let you put YOUR money in their bank account then charge U $3.00 a month. For that priviledge you can spend YOUR money in THEIR store usingt a W/M draft card. WOW U can't overdraft they say. DUH can't spend more than you put into your account with their bank. WHAT A WAY TO GO lead us on brother and we will follow. WHY CAN'T I THINK OF SOMETHING LIKE THIS.
You might want to read a little more into this account. You picked out little bits and pieces of the information to make it seem like Wal Mart is horrible for having these accounts.
It is a wal-mart prepaid Visa/Mastercard and it is reloadable either at any wal-mart location or with a moneypak green dot card. You can use it at Walmart.... but you can also use it EVERYWHERE ELSE too. It also comes with a pin number so you can withdraw the $ you put on it at any ATM in the country. It does cost 3$ a month but that's still less than most credit cards annual fees. I'm not trying to defend walmart... I hate going in there... but get your facts straight at least.
I actually have one of these cards... I also have 2 other checking accts and savings accts at real banks. I got one of these accounts because they come in handy and you can receive money instantly from anywhere in the country... let's say a guy from oklahoma owes me 500$. All he has to do is go to wal mart and get a Moneypak Greendot card... he's gonna pay 500$ plus 3$ for them to put the money on the greendot card. He can then text me the information off of the greendot card, I call it in to my walmart visa and voila, there's 500$ in my account instantly. Then I am free to spend this money where ever and whenever I please.
Stuff like this is why I research everything myself before I consider it truthful.
