Moon

Hunted last 3 nights with moon like you guys.We ran 17 tracks and have looked at 16 singles, one hole in ground. I know it will get tougher as the weather gets colder later in the season. Take care, Ron.

Last night

I too hunted last night. Turned loose next to a pond with a fish feeder next to it.Before last night,we been striking real quick on the backside of pond.Last night I was huntin my young dog.He went about 300yds. deep and decided he wanted to run a deer.He ain't never messed with one before. But,last night he did.I bet a hundred dollars if he does it again,it'll be the last time.He gonna get the shock of his life.

Young Dogs

Bright moon and rut season can be a real problem, I agree.

5 tracks tonight- 1 den tree, 1 bluff den, 3 singles. Take care, Ron.

Bright moon suck. My black dog treed her first 3 coons by herself last week then past 2 nights she ran a deer. Maybe after the beatin it put a little fear in that smell. hmmm i am still going with the bright moon!
