Here is Ranger with meat in the tree... This was before season started as we were getting him tuned up .





And here is Star... Poor old girl 1st tree was next to an abandoned shack and the tree branch went right into the window. Second time was by a shed and the coon jumped the roof! Better luck tonight I hope!

boy its good to see someone is getting something, we've only got 31 so far. the dogs are doing their part but they gotta go so deep and we have to walk so far to get to um lol it takes a long time to get a few every night.

After going out for fish fry tonight, I loaded up and headed out. Cut Timber down a standing corn field, he went in, to come back a few minutes later to check in, then cut into the corn. 30 seconds later I heard him open and headed right back in my direction. I stood on the tailgate to get a better listen just in time to hear the 'ol coon come grunting 2 rows deep past me. I figured he was headed for the barn, but he cut back in. (Mistake!!) Timber busted him right on the edge. Got in there to see the coon attached to the dog. I got that sorted out and came on home. Gone about 45 minutes!

then...

one of the three dogs we had out, got one of these...







so we decided to stop there because the fat dog stunk and we were gagging lol I thought I'd make ya'll smile, cuz it ACTUALLY happened
