Eliminate the offices of President & VP , we've got enough "LEADERS " in the big arguments already. Look at money saved on electing them every 4 years .
Same thing wrong with government is the same as this post : started out with a little innocent humor and now look where we're at. Most can't agree with there spouses enough to stay married til death do us part let alone run a country. It's gotten to big and we're NOT running it and in case you haven't noticed voting for change hasn't made much difference.

Good leadership involves responsibility to the welfare of the group, which means people will get angry at your actions and decisions. It's inevitable, if your honorable. Trying to get everyone to like you is a sign of mediocrity. You will avoid the tough decisions, you will avoid confronting the people who need confronted, and you will avoid offering differential rewards based on differential performance because some people may get upset. Ironically, by procrastinating on the difficult choices, by trying not to get anyone made, and by treating everyone equally "nicely" regardless of their contributions, you will simply ensure that the only people you wind up angering are the most creative and productive people in the entire organization.
The way I see it, the most recent display of lack of leadership was the debt extension debacle. Nobody wanted to "piss anyone off" because there is an election just a little over a year away......a true failure of a leadership.....
