They don't seem to effect the dogs sense of smell any? Thinking about giving them a try.

spray the dogs with the skitter spray you use when you go fishing
been useing it on the jack russel and seems to keep the ticks and fleas under control also..
i spray on the neck and shoulderblades where they cant lick it.
dont know if the deet in it will hurt normal dogs but the jack russel aint normal..

good luck

Mosquito spray doesn't work around here. It seems like the more you spray the worse they get. lol

It is for flea's, ticks, and FLYS ! I am not saying this is your best solution for you or anyone else, just good info. I myself bought cattle tags at TSC as well. I haven't used the tags yet because of the cost, thought if an 8 dollar solution works I can return the tags.

It worked for flys for me but this is only the second day it has been applied. The bottle it comes in is a small 8 ounce bottle with a 1/2 and 1 oz little filler at the top sort of like a bottle of mixing oil or something like that. Tractor Supply has it though, it took a while to find it but it is there. Hope you have good luck with the female having pups. Also there are fly bags that help but they stink, and TSC also has attractant, and an attachment for milk jugs pretty cheep conpaired to the bags, but I haven't had any luck with it.

Good luck.

Back in the early eighte's it was thought that ear tags was causing leucemea in dogs. I know about that time I did have a dog that had it. I don't think that they are as strong and I think that the ingredeance has been changes.
