Stolen Dog at Bluetick Event
Many of the people who work at these animal shelters and local humane societies are Animal Rights Activists.
In their mind, they are "saving" the dog by NOT returning it to the "evil" hunter", who will eventually slaughter everything in the woods, all the while ruining the entire eco-system, in addition to leaving a huge carbon footprint...
These people don't eat meat, & don't want YOU to, either. Hunting dogs = meat eating. SO, they don't call when a hunting dog comes in, even when it does have I.D. on it. Remember, they don't want you to hunt !!!!! Once they have your dog, mission accomplished. So don't expect a phone call. Some of these people lie like rugs - anything to keep you from getting your HUNTING dog back! In their warped minds, they are doing the RIGHT thing. YOU are the bad guy. You kill things. THEY are "justified".
Better to spay or neuter that "poor abused" dog who was obviously FORCED to run & hunt, & get it into a PET home, where it can grow fat and lazy sleeping all day on the couch while it's owner is at work. When the owners come home, they can revel in the fact that they RESCUED a poor helpless little dog from an EVIL hunter who kept the poor little thing OUTSIDE, of all places!
After spending time learning the AR thought-process, I can see clearly now...
I hope you find your dog !!!
