Tim,

That was incredible. They say you don't know what you don't know. Think about that. I'm here to tell you that there is a lot you don't know. There is no way you would be saying any of that if you had even the smallest idea of what is going on.

My dad is a blind democrat. He walks through life wondering what happened and why things don't work out the way they are supposed to for him. He blames the republicans for everything and still has no clue.

The progressive movement is a has many members in both the democrat and republican parties. They are giving us their version of America from both sides. The democrats do it faster than the republicans but the progressives of either party are doing the same thing.

It's time to wake up and get some learning done on your part. You've got a long way to go so I would advise you to keep quiet until you do some more research. If that post was for real...if not, you got me!

"Knox", I've gone back and read every post on this thread, and I don't see where anyone has defended the big oil companies. But it is typical of a democrat, to make it up as you go kinda of mentality.
I don't know of a person in this country that doesn't believe that we are in trouble, from democrat to republican, and for the liberals and Obama to keep saying all our problems are still Bush's fault, is just plain stupid. So, if Obama gets another 4 years, and the country is worst (heaven for-bid), then will you and your liberal buddies still blame Bush..... I'm sure you will. The only bad thing then, it will be too late for our recovery.
Yeah, and Obama needs to stand up a little more to his opposition, like you say, and put his foot down.........sounds like you would like a dictatorship in this country, goes along with the socialism you would like also.

No Matter What

Can President Obama be defeated in 2012? No. He can’t. I am going on record as saying that President Barak Obama will win a second term. The media won’t tell you this because a good election campaign means hundreds of millions (or in Obama’s case billions) of dollars to them in advertising. But the truth is, there simply are no conditions under which Barak Obama can be defeated in 2012. The quality of the Republican candidate doesn’t matter. Obama gets reelected. Nine percent unemployment? No problem. Obama will win. Gas prices moving toward five dollars a gallon? He still wins. The economy soars or goes into the gutter. Obama wins. War in the Middle East? He wins a second term. America’s role as the leading Superpower disappears? Hurrah for Barak Obama! The U.S. government rushes toward bankruptcy, the dollar continues to sink on world markets and the price of daily goods and services soars due to inflation fueled by Obama’s extraordinary deficit spending? Obama wins handily.

You are crazy Williams. Don’t you understand how volatile politics can be when overall economic, government, and world conditions are declining? Sure I do. And that’s why I know Obama will win. The American people are notoriously ignorant of economics. And economics is the key to why Obama should be defeated. Even when Obama’s policies lead the nation to final ruin, the majority of the American people are going to believe the bait-and-switch tactics Obama and his supporters in the media will use to explain why it isn’t his fault. After all, things were much worse than understood when he took office.

Obama’s reelection is really a very, very simple math problem.

Consider the following:

1) Blacks will vote for Obama blindly. Period. Doesn’t matter what he does. It’s a race thing. He’s one of us,

2) College educated women will vote for Obama. Though they will be offended by this, they swoon at his oratory. It’s really not more complex than that,

3) Liberals will vote for Obama. He is their great hope,

4) Democrats will vote for Obama. He is the leader of their party and his coattails will carry them to victory nationwide,

5) Hispanics will vote for Obama. He is the path to citizenship for those who are illegal and Hispanic leaders recognize the political clout they carry in the Democratic Party,

6) Union members will vote overwhelmingly for Obama. He is their key to money and power in business, state and local politics,

7) Big Business will support Obama. They already have. He has almost $1 Billion dollars in his reelection purse gained largely from his connections with Big Business and is gaining more everyday. Big Business loves Obama because he gives them access to taxpayer money so long as they support his social and political agenda,

8) The media love him. They may attack the people who work for him, but they love him. After all, to not love him would be racist,

9) Most other minorities and special interest groups will vote for him. Oddly, the overwhelming majority of Jews and Muslims will support him because they won’t vote Republican. American Indians will support him. Obviously homosexuals tend to vote Democratic. And lastly,

10) Approximately half of independents will vote for Obama. And he doesn’t need anywhere near that number because he has all of the groups previously mentioned.

The President will win an overwhelming victory in 2012. -- Dr. Walter Williams

There may not be posts now about defending Big Oil, but there were plenty on here before, there is plenty of it on TV, Radio, etc.
I dont think all our problems are Bush's fault, like I said there is plenty of blame to go around, on both sides of the fence.

As far as the dictatorship mumbo-jumbo hog wash, you couldnt be more wrong, I think its the other way around, people like you dont want debate, or for people to think their own mind......you want everyone to think like you, because your way of thinking is the ONLY way, you are never wrong..........LOL..........

Let the Republicans put a GOOD canditate running for President and I wouldnt hesitate to vote for them, like Mitch Daniels here in Indiana (Governor)......I think I would vote for him, but def not the likes of Trump, Palin, Huckabee, Beck, etc.
I will / Do step across the Party lines when it comes to the RIGHT person...................Tim

Knox, let me ask you a question. I'm pretty sure you voted for Oprama.

Palin was much more qualified for president than he is/was by any objective measure (education, accomplishments, past governance taken as a whole not a single entity)

What's everyones excuse about that?

I agree there are no good Republican candidates. Part of that is that they know what Williams said above is 100% true and they are biding their time until after his two terms are up. I don't agree with this but that is what is happening.

There is absolutely no way Oprama will be defeated, period. The mainstream media simply will not allow that to happen. Oprama could assassinate someone on National television, he could declare the US a Communist country and he would STILL win simply because the democrats control the media and what is published/aired. That's why 5% unemployment for Bush was just awful but 7% unemployment for Billary was just great and the American sheeple fall for it every time. If it weren't for Oprah Hillary would have been president, but Oprah and her media cohorts single handedly changed the democratic primaries using the most powerful thing out there, the media.

Just watch what the media reports about the oil profits to deflect blame from the liberals (most of the oil prices go right to their feet, they actually WANT gas prices over 5 dollars per gallon because they say it's too cheap and we will use less and save the planet. BTW, OPRAMA said he wanted gas over 5 dollars a gallon too). They will report the DOLLAR AMOUNT of profits, not PERCENTAGE.

10% is 10% but if they only make a 10% profit that doesn't deamonize them enough so they will only report the billions, without reporting the billions they spent to make that money making the return whatever percentage it is. They won't report on how the left hasn't allowed a gas refinery to be built in the US since the 60's, nor about how much oil we have that we aren't allowed to drill because of the left. This increases dependance on foreign oil and allows specuation because OPEC has all the power and controls production.

Like I said, the Republicans would have to come up with someone better than any of them that are going to run in 2012, I wouldnt even consider voting for any of the ones mentioned.

As far as the debt, your kids and Grandkids were handed a HUGE debt way before Obama was elected.

Obama will win another term, by a landslide ( just like his first election) and I think it will be a bigger win than his first.

What I think is hurting the Republican Party is its Obvious that they want Obama to fail, at any cost to the American people, a blind man can see that....................Tim

Blame Republicans for Obama's poll numbers: "People are a little disappointed in the president because he hasn't been able to change the way Washington works at all. Indeed, Congress is even more poorly regarded. Everybody wanted a bigger deal than was done on the last budget go-around. And so in an odd way the fact that the Republicans and Congress are so poorly regarded, that the whole system is so poorly regarded, drags everybody down, including the president." --Huffington Post's Howard Fineman

Spin: "You know, the president went to church yesterday. It was well covered. I'm not sure if we put out a statement or not." --White House Press Secretary Jay Carney attempting to spin away the fact that Obama has never once followed the presidential custom of issuing an official Easter proclamation, though he sure didn't miss Earth Day

Belly laugh of the week: "Our policy has been and will always be, as long as I will be in office, that a strong dollar is in the interest of the country. We will never embrace a strategy to weaken the dollar." --Treasury Secretary Tim "Turbo Tax" Geithner

He feels your pain: "We've gotten away from being a people-centered society [and become] a money-centered society." --Bill Clinton

"Barack Obama's motorcade snarled traffic in Los Angeles Thursday. Churches on the president's route had to cancel Holy Week services to accommodate his entrance to Los Angeles. It was the most self-important procession since O.J. rode into Brentwood on a Bronco." --comedian Argus Hamilton

"Prominent people are coming forward to attest to President Obama's American citizenship. The Governor of Hawaii just said he first met Obama just days after he was born. He knew it was Obama, because he kept pointing to his diaper and calling for change." --comedian Conan O'Brien

"Every time a kid found an egg [at the White House Easter Egg Roll], Michelle Obama would make them trade it in for a low cholesterol Egg Beater. They had about 6,000 eggs, and you know who decorated them? Ex-cons. It's nice to see the White House reaching out to former members of Congress." --comedian Jay Leno

Hey Wing, goin good. Hope all is well for you too.

I wouldn't own a Volt if you PAID me to own it. Don't want anything to do with Gubment Motors.

And I especially don't want to be force fed an inferior product like the Volt cause the gubment wants me to have one.

Their are 2 enitys of USA'S 1. USA we the people. 2. USA the government. USA the people work and own business to make ends meat to make a living only to pay taxes on what they earn. USA the government taxes those owner of business and their workers to run their government.

IDEAL

What if we elect only the President. Senators and Congressmen that had the same idealism of government owned and operated corps and small business. They could hire USA we the people to work their jobs without being taxed and they would profit off the sale and production of their companies. That way USA the government could still fund themselves and the programs they want to tax USA we the people for.

Been rough this way Rip. Tornado's every day for weeks it seems like. No power to power few hours at times, tree's down everywhere, everything is flooded, entire towns in flood plain being evacuated, and as always people just keep robbing and mobbing the public. Other than that, we are just fine lol.

Well I guess we could sit here and just keep going back and forth but I'm gonna let you win this one as I have bigger fish to fry. Am curious though as to what you think about trump and his fairy tale about getting obama to 'finally' release his birth cert? Fellow yawl right wingers (lol) really need somebody with some sense to run against the left wingers. Sorry to say kycooner1 is probally right on target but right only because the nutcases on the right can't come up with anything better.

Left wing vs right wing... Right wing vs left wing. More things change more the way they stay the same.

Anybody remember the good ole days before bush? Gosh look at that debt falling like a rock.

Re-elect Bill Clinton and lets get on with it...just saying.

"Kim Jong-Un speaks and his people sit up at attention. I want my people to do the same.” An actual sitting US President said that. Let that sink in.
