Go to the dollar store and pick up grape jelly jars. Poke a few small holes in the lids and duct tape them upside down to a tree. The jelly will slowly leak out and it should last 3 weeks to a month. Coons love it.

bucket feeders



I like that tire idea.pretty neat and nice pics We just use the buckets with pipe. Cheap and easy to make and possums and deer don't get in them.

On my buckets I generally tie them to trees etc but the problem I see with that is on occasion dogs will " slick tree " on the tree the bucket is tied to. So what I done was put eye bolts, one on each side towards the top of the bucket. Now I run small rebar through the eye bolts of the bucket and drive it in the ground. This keeps them from toting of the bucket or knocking it over. Plus I can put right next to a slough etc and no " slick tree'n " now with small pups.
