If a dog gets shot and federation is going to help it..The members should know..If something like this HB 277 is written..Soon as the federation knows..The members should know. Just like the things in the works about coon trapping in north ga.. The federation has nothing on the website about any of this stuff that I see..Maybe if yall get it fixed..I'll join again..Why have a membership if they are not included and active in the things going on!

They voted in some new Officers Hopefully this will get changed in the future....I PROMISE if you join the GHFF they will let you know EVERYTHING that goes on as soon as they know call any of the board members and they will talk to you personally and explain everything they do and they want to hear from you Mr. Gaskins has always been kind to our Sportsman club and comes down everytime we ask him to do a speech and shows what they have accomplished GHFF is definitely the Federation that gets things done in ALL of Ga

Micheal while some of what you say has weight, most of it doesn't. There is a 2 way street you must ride on. It cost us each time the web site is changed. Not a little, but a lot. We are going to try and fix that part, so we can use it as an information tool. You want to be an active member, or at least your post says you do. The state meeting is where it happens. Join and get active. Be heard, If you want to help, call me. we will talk, and i promise you can get active. We need good help and ideas. As for the one rule on raccoons, no it doesn't have a number, but that doesn't mean things are not in motion. As with all things, wheels of the goverenment turn slow, but once it gets a sponsor, it picks up speed. Oh yeah, did i mention that the memberships go a long way to providing funds to help make things happen? If you really want a say, join and get active. You might be surprised the good you could do by helping instead of complaining.

I saw at the meeting were it costs everytime the website changed how about doing a facebook page you could control the membership advertise and writ all you want for nothing Just a thought that got passed around at the state meeting although it didn't get brought up no sense in having a website that isn't free

A email list of all members could help with sending out all the info so nobody feels like their $25 dollars means nothing

I agree fully, and have already written down the email list as something to do. We do hope to get a newsletter started soon, either by email, or maybe a letter written to one of the publications like the Coonhound Bloodlines. I like the email idea better. The facebook thing is out my league. Never been there, but i guess it could be done if somebody knows how. I'm all for getting the info. out to the membership. I agree also the that the website we have currently is leaving an awful lot to be desired, and as President, i do intend to ask the board to take a hard look at it. I favor a site that we can change oursleves. Then again, someone else would have to train this nut on it, because i have not a clue. In the mean time, My phone number is listed under my name, if you have questions or concerns, let us hear them. We work for you.
