Roy, now you know the old saying that are parents use to tell us, (Paybacks Are 4377), what goes around comes around, just sit down and think what you use to do, and see if this is what your young one's are doing. I know already what your going to say, I never did that, and I'm gonna say Bull Doo Doo.

You're right thornie, man can't believe I said that lol, raising kids sure does make ya realize what's important. But going back in time what hounds of today's era would like to see run with of when this all got started. I would love to put chubby with tappenden's luke and hank to see if he could jump rabbits with them. I'm sure we all look at hounds of today vs early on but I would love to be able to see just what strengths and weakness each had head to head

Now Roy, I thought you knew this old man better. I have never been afraid to put what I've hunted down with anyone's dog. Look what I had to put with you and Nate. When I run with a person and their dog, I look at the dogs and the companionship. But, one of my most memorable was with Dick McVay's ,Blitz and Thornsley's Bright Eyes Bonnie. Another was with Sundown Tess and my Abbie female. Another was with Dugan, Fluhart, and myself and that weather predictor groundhog. Scratched
But the best is just running with great friends, enjoying dogs, and cutting each other's ssa. Nothing better in life.

Now to your first question, Muddpuddlin George and The Elms Jigs Maggies Mate or Anna's Ann

OOOOHHH come get some if you want some. LOL

That is exactly what it is about and that's why I have the respect for u I have. I just always like thinking wouldn't it be fun to run some of the real legends of our sport with todays hounds. I don't care about judging them just watching them pound. Nice talking to ya Dad lol

Wouldn't it be great for someone to produce a video of today and tommorows legends like they do for coonhunting.Great to break it out in 5 to 10 years and see those great hounds run again, and those who are new to the sport can enjoy and see those great dogs of the past.Be nice to see video of Fire River,Sundown,Halfway,Branko,etc....... legends so those hounds could always be remebered.

Something similar has already been made. Look for the book "LEGENDS OF YESTERYEAR" very soon. Here is a sneak peak

http://www.freewebs.com/cannonball0...spromovideo.htm

I might ad that Rick G. has some of the "best" running at trials and being gunned over. I watched them the last time I was in NY and couldn't believe some of the stuff he had!

Can't wait for that, should be a big seller. Can't see why breeders don't make video's of their stud dog showing their hunt ,running ability, and some young dogs out of their stud.Look's like they could see more interest from those that haven't seen him run,but that's what their looking for in a stud.No more listen to some they dont know.Sometime seeing is what it takes.More in depth then a video on utube

Thank You, Haven't had many comments on the Striker video, I guess the music is a little hard for most. I just keep an open mind I guess. Thanks again!

Thank you, The Legends video is just a sample of what is in the book. The book blows the video out of the water. Rick and I are closing in on the printing part of the project.

P.S. sorry for the post Hi jack.... Carry on
