The goat chops I tried last summer were darn good. Waayy better than venison. This goat was a Boehr goat which is a meat breed. Maybe they have a higher fat content which is why they were so good. Kind of reminded me of eating a pork steak. Which I love.

TO THE FOLKS THAT DON'T EAT DEER. YOU MOST LIKELY HAVE NOT HAD IT COOKED RIGHT. MY FRIENDS 16 YEAR OLD GIRL SAYS SHE DOESN'T EAT DEER BUT GUESS WHAT THEY EAT AT LEAST 2 A YEAR AND SHE LAPS IT UP AND DON'T EVEN KNOW IT.

I live 20 miles north of the coast and any time you want to come down let me know and will fix it for a nominal fee of you bringing a coon dog and then we will go hunting when it gets dark .lolol

sounds like a good deal to me. i have been in those parts of the state a few times and love it around the gulf.
