I was saying the beagle trials are stupid, ive hunted a lot of them and it is all buddy buddy, half the time they know who is winning before the trial even starts

That weeds us out from many UKC events, both show and hunt. My husband works 1 1/2 hrs. away from home, and we're at least 40 minutes from the nearest club. Farther from the ones we like the most. So there is NO way we can get there in time. Stinks, but we just hit the ones on Saturday and attend when we can on Friday. It would be nice if Friday's started later.

I'M NOT PICKING ON THIS CLUB, BUT A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO QUINCY WAS CALLED BY A MEMBER OF A COON CLUB CLOSE TO THE HOUSE.

HE WAS ASKED TO BE THE BENCH SHOW JUDGE. THEY SAID HOW THEY COULDNT FIND ANYONE TO DO IT AND HE WAS ONE OF THEIR LAST RESOERTS. HE SAID OK. THEN A FEW MINUTES LATER QUINCY SAID BETTER CALL HIM BACK AND FIND OUT WHAT TIME THE BENCH SHOW IS.

I DID, AND THE DEADLINE ON A FRIDAY WAS 4:30!!!

I LIKE TO ATTEND HUNTS AND SHOWS, BUT I DONT EVEN GET OFF WORK UNTIL 5PM AND QUINCY GETS OFF AT 4. THEN WE GOT TO FEED DOGS, AND GET STUFF READY.

IT'S NO WONDER THEY COULDNT FIND ANYONE TO DO IT.
