Chris & Knox

Do either of you know if it is possible to just purchase the head/cord only and plug it into say a bright eyes or blazer batter pack and have it work like you are saying.

If so, any idea what the cost of the head is??

You would have to check with Competition, but I think you could just go with the head, but not sure if it will work right without the Hi-Lo switch. The head is $175, if Competition doesnt have any in stock I know one of there dealers that should have them.....................Tim

comp head

Price quoted is right and I have tried mine on a buddies light. It works but you can't get the same results. Your light needs to have the rheostat and not the 5 position click switch.

I think Blazer or Cajun is making 1 now that will work with the click style switch. Around 170-175 I think.

The 5 led blazer I have works with my 6 position click switch.

1 click is very dim can't even tell its on but reflects coons eyes nicely. 6 different levels of brightness from less than a pen light to burn the top out bright.
