It's a darn shame one would steal anything at a hunt period. I haven't made it to the KY State for a couple years now but, I have always enjoyed attending this event if I hunted or not as well as the Youth hunt. Never had any issues with theft myself and hadn't heard of any till this. Whoever stole this equipment and dogs need to be made an example of.. Hope everyone gets their stuff back. Cannot see anyway for them to ever get to hunt these dogs due to the public knowledge and internet posting pictures etc,. Darn Fools to try to get away with this...

A FEW YEARS AGO THERE WAS A GUY AROUND HERE IF HE HEARD YOU HAD A GOOD DOG HE WOULD ASK TO GO HUNTING WITH YA AND HE WOULD VOLUNTEER TO TAKE YOU TO SOME "NICE LAND HE OWNED" WHEN YOU TURNED OUT AND YOUR DOG GOT TREED BEFORE YOU WOULD GET IN THERE TO HIM EVERYTHING WOULD GO SILENT. DOG WOULD NEVER BE FOUND. TRACKING COLLAR WOULD NOT EVEN PICK UP . FOUND OUT HE WOULD HAVE ONE OR TWO GUYS OF HIS IN THE WOODS WAITING WHEN THEY GOT TREED THEY WOULD TAKE THEM OFF THE TREE AND KILL THE COLLARS. THIS IS TRUE I KNOW FROM FIRST HAND. THIS HAPPEN TO ME BUT AT THE TIME I HAD NO CLUE WHAT HAPPEN TO MY DOG , HE DROVE ME AROUND TILL DAY BREAK THAT MORNING LOOKING FOR MY DOG . 2 WEEKS LATER GUY CAME TO ME AND TOLD ME HOW HE DONE THINGS I ASKED HOW DID HE KNOW HE SAID " I HAVE DONE IT FOR HIM" HE TOOK ME BACK UP IN TO SOME WOOD ABOUT MILE AND HALF OFF THE ROAD AND MY GOD HERE WAS 40+ DOGS HE HAD BULL DOGS, LITTLE DOGS, WALKERS, BLUETICS, ENGLISH , BLACK AND TANS & ETC..... I FOUND MY DOG , I WENT STRAIT TO HIS HOUSE AND ME AND HIS SON WENT TO FIGHTING "DAD WAS IN A WHEEL CHAIR" SO I DID NOT WANT TO HURT A CRIPLED PERSON BUT WHEN I BROKE ON HIM SON CHEAP SHOT ME FROM THE SIDE ANYWAY LOT OF HUNTERS GOT TOGETHER AND FOUND THERE DOGS BACK THERE THE DAY THE SHERIFF DEPUTIES WENT BACK THERE HE WAS MOVING THE DOGS ALL THESE DOGS HAD BEEN STOLEN AND SHERIFFS OFFICE HAD MANY REPORTS OF STOLEN DOGS , THIS GUY HAD A BIG OPERATION GOING ON THEY RAIDED HIS HOUSE AND FOUND ALL KINDS OF PHONY DOCUMENTS AND UKC PAPERS. HE WAS SELLING THESE DOGS. THEY FOUND OUT HE WAS RUNNING A AD IN THE BARGAIN TRADER AND SELLING THEM FROM $200 - $250 . HE GOT LIKE 3 YEARS IN PRISON AND HAD TO PAY SO MUCH BACK.

SO ALWAYS CHECK THE BARGAIN TRADER!!!
