i've been married 37 years and hunted coon and squirrels for the past 10. my wife has never gone with me but she has come to my rescue a few times when i've been stuck for whatever reason. she does enjoy fishing though and likes the dogs. yea, i'm a well blessed man.

You are blessed and you both keep working at it. She went a few times before we were married so she knew what she was in for. My coon hunting was fine except for the tail end of one season when we had two young babies so I cut back to every now and again when it suited. After about 25 years things went downhill, empty nest, I don't know. Up untill then I was convinced that all those years she didn't mind, even liked, me coonhunting. Funny how things change when you get in divorce court. She and her lawyer said coon hunting was a big issue.

Ya'll keep working at it and if it does bother her pay attention cause she might not tell you outright.

Don't feel sorry for me. Since D Day, I've probably taken a tenth of the availabe women in the county coon hunting and look forward to taking the rest. They seem to enjoy it. We don't hunt too long.

Ive been married twice and both of those didnt like me coon hunting but the one I got know supports it all the way. Now she dont like being out in the woods at night. Afraid a bear might get her she says. But she has no problem with the dogs conversations about the dogs or the money i spend on the dogs. I feel I am blessed to have her.
