His maternal grandfather, Tommy Yeargin of Jane, Missouri was quite a guy, had a great area to coon hunt in, kept good mules. When Hank Jr was married to his daughter they would spend quite a bit of time on Sugar Creek and Elk River in McDonald County, MO the extreme SW corner of the state bordering AR and OK, until recently one of the states poorest most rural areas.
Jr's parties down there were legendary. Hank III spent a lot of summers with his grandpa on the farm, coon hunting and fishing rather than spent it in Atlanta with his mom. He still stays in touch with some of the local boys he got to know.
Kid has to be under a ton of pressure to try to fill both his dad and grandpa's boots. First time I saw him, he was wearing some of Hanks old clothes on stage.

I dont think thats what he wants to do. Respect your opinion but
he is doin it his way. Takes a lot of guts to get in front of people and preach, sing, talk, speech, whatever. My dad was an evangelist, got up and spoke the gospel every Sunday and Wednesday, never met a bigger liar and hippocrite in my life. Just sayin, cause somebody cusses dont mean they would not treat you kindly or give you something if ya needed it.

Hank Williams III is good friends of the WHITE'S of Boone County WV and has spent alot of time with them and are in the TV show with the WHITE'S.... And yes the White's and Hank III have very nasty langauge ang ways of life... But it is our option to either except or not. If we dont like it then we don'thave to listen to it. And yes Hank Jr used to run ad's I have a copy somewhere if I find it I will post it.... Just my two cents worth of coments Lol...
