Ron, it was SO bad that I'm not sure they weren't PETA plants that were sent there just to make that video to make all farming look bad.

It was awful, made my blood boil.

They deserve to be right where they are , in jail, but I would be curious as to who put them up to making that video. I just don't understand why anyone would film themselves like that. It was so bad they had to know they would go to jail if anyone seen that tape.

Yes, my suspicions are up for that being a video made by the animal rights people, but that doesn't change the fact that they the ones that did it need to be in jail. There's no excuse for what they did, none.

rip ,the person taping the video went "undercover" as and got hired at this facility. the organizations backing him was
"Mercy For Animals" i think. if you look them up they have a ton of videos out there on chicken farms, laying factories, hog confinements and such. most of the facilities are made out to be worse than they really are but in this video its the real deal.. i bet the "investigator" got more than he would have ever imagined on this one.

ron and for those that cant get it to work on youtube here it is on another site.

Very disturbing

Pure human garbage at it's best. The POS that owns this farm should be in jail and have his farm shut down immediately. The farmer should know what is going on at all times, with all aspects of his operation, including screening and monitering his help. Another thing that is also disturbing is the people viewing this are probably helping to pay these idiot's wages. You can just bet the farmer is signed up for Milk Income Loss payments and other goverment subsidies.
My wife and I owned and operated a dairy farm in Wi for many years and always took pride in keeping a top quality herd of cows on a very well maintained farm. We also took pride in doing all our work ourselves from milking, feeding, raising youngstock, growing crops, maintaining machinery.ect. Hiring cheap, unskilled labor was the furthest thing from our minds.

The dairy cow is the "foster mother of the human race" and should always be treated as such........with the utmost respect!

side note.. the guy in most of the video was in the process of becoming a police officer.. can you imagine how that might have turned out dealing with stressfull situations and him carrying a gun...

the news is eating this video up. and its to bad. this is all animal right people needed to change the farming laws for good.

If he would have made Police Officer faster he would have been fine because you could put a Video of a Police Officer doing the same thing to a Person on here and 90 % would have said " O well they Probably deserved it".

As long as our Govt condones the murder of MILLIONS of unborn children each day, the idiot in the video should not be charged with any crime.

OMG, I have seen a lot of cruel things done to cattle, BUT I have never seen anything that bad. It brought tears to my eyes. Cows are creatures of habit, can you imagine the confusion going through their minds, wondering what they did wrong to be treated like that?

Now I did note in the 1 hr. 15 minutes it took to load on this slow a$$ dial up computer...the cows were clean and in good shape, well fed. The calves were also clean, not all $hitted up and the cows weren't caked in crap either. So I'm thinking the farmer at least provides well for them, too bad he didn't provide a good, kind helper to take care of their needs. Wonder how many good milk cows this farmer has lost due to treatment like this. He should be checking into why his good milk cows are suddenly all banged and bruised up and down with mastitis.

Yes I do! As I said, cows are creatures of habit, go to get milked at the same time each day, eat the same time each day, so on and so forth. If what they did for so many days or weeks in a row is the samething and something happens to them that didn't happen to them before in that time, they get upset, confused and will be come scared because the routine is disrupted. It is a proven fact that a cow will produce less milk when under stress, be it change in the feed, or change in grazing field or change in milking pattern or feed pattern. The more they are kept on a routine, the better they are and the better milk they produce.

We milked 3 times a day, 7 days a week. 5, 1 and 9. If you were off even by an hour, the amount of milk produced would go down and your sematic cell count would go up. Keep them on schedule with everything and they produced more and higher quality milk. I seen it done many, many times. Some times it was very hard to do all 3 shifts like that, but we did it and tried very hard to not get off schedule.

We own a feedlot and I'll guarentee you that's not how 99 percent of farms of any kind operate.

That guy deserves whatever he gets.

I have always thought to myself when I watch those Animal Cops stories, how many homeless, hungry, abused children or people have they driven past that needed their help and they raced to 'save' an animal or charge a person for cruelty to animals. I'm sure the number is many. I deplore those commercials they put on the TV about adopt an animal or your money will go to help a lost or abused animal, while children in THIS country go to bed hungry, scared, alone or abused, with no one there to help them. We seen commercials for children in OTHER countries that need our help, well THIS country has just as many. I love animals and hate to see them abused, but humans by far, should be put at the top of the help list and whatever is left (next to none) should be used to help whatever else needs help! We send BILLIONS of dollars to other countries to help them and can't even help the one's in our own back yard. How sad is that!

And I still wonder if those in the video weren't part of the PETA or Mercy for Animals crowd.

The AR folks have been caught more than once staging videos like this about hunting/farms in the past.

The level of abuse here makes me wonder if they weren't TRYING to look bad for the camera.

Maybe not, maybe these individuals are that sick.

But also know the animal rights people are just as sick as the perps in the video because they believe it's OK to kill a child to save an animal, or it's OK to abuse and kill animals to make fake videos if it advances their agenda.

I raise and show Tennessee Walking Horses. The Anti "big lick" horse people have been caught staging pics of abuse for decades.

the only reason i would disagree on it being staged is the peron doing the acts of animal cruelty is in jail as we speek for it and is looking and 12 counts of felony agravated animal cruelty. maybe there are some hard core people willing to take the fall like that but i doubt it.

Hmmm. Think about that. If I was HSUS or PETA I'd hire a couple gang bangers from the hood and head to a dairy farm with a camera. This video is animal abuse, but it may be totally staged.

These HSUS and PETA types purposely go to farms to get jobs with the intention of getting some dirt. How easy would it be to slip $50 to Pablo and get him to go "UFC" on some cow or calf?

Farmers might get rougher with an animal than some lilly-hearted city dweller types might like to see but no farmer in his right mind is going to:
A. Use a pitchfork on an animal.
B. Risk breaking bones in his hand on an animal.
C. Do anything that jeopardizes the production of the animal.
D. Brag on video about doing something thats illegal.

Its just not gonna happen...

Obviously John D has some real farm background and some real understanding of farming.

As farms get bigger and bigger, the ammount of "hands on" by the owners gets to be less and less....like it or not , the economics drive this.

I get a lick of of people that think they are knowledgable and all "country" because Grandpa farmed back in the day.....I am a 6th generation dairy farmer, I seriously doubt my grandpa would have any understanding of farming today....It has changed that much.
