use the heavy duty zip ties, and put em every 6 inches or so. dont chain them up inside the kennel cuz ull come home one day with a dead dog.

These dogs must have a ton of energy. All the hunting and exercise they are getting seems like they would sleep all day. I don't have this problem, but I think I would try the cattle panels.

You may have coon showing up where the dogs see them getting into something and go crazy while you're gone. There's usually a reason for these things happening on a regular basis. Once the dogs figure out that they can get out you have a real problem getting it stopped. On the other hand if they're kenneled together just one of them may be the trouble maker .

Dale you nailed it on the head! One teaches the other and then it goes from there! its not that they are all ripping the wire off the poles they are ripping the actual chain link apart... would cow pannel aside the chainlink hold them any better? i would never chain my dogs in the kennel they are way to energetic for that. i know of a wood chuck hanging around out by them but can't get a decent shot at him, and a few pesky cats who test their limits but other wise i think they just know the coon are out there and they want them! thanks every one i might get some cow pannels.

Alex you'll have to do what you think will hold them. I live in a subdivision where things have to be QUIET and secure. Putting a 6 foot secureity fence around the back yard helped bunches . Dogs can't see out and people can't see in. Not 100% cure but did make a difference.

Have one that can crawl out and into a kennel, she drove me nuts, so she is my house dog now, that ended the problem for me. I didn't know she knew how to crawl into them until she was in heat and crawled into the pen to get to the male. That ened up with a litter of 7 pups. Gonna tie her a$$ from now on, instead of just left her out to do her business. Rotten b!tch!

we actually rent the place we are at and he doesn't want our dogs anywhere but where we have them which is the area next to the cow pasture in the round up area, and he won't let us have any dogs in the house, (they used to be house dogs) and i can't fence anything in for them to run all day long... i'm pretty limited on what i can do for them, so i think the cow pannel will have to work?
