Thanks but if you dont think their cant be a "quick" fix to the gasoline problem then you are naive. And it's not rocket science like some would like for you to believe.. Please dont group people together who dont use words like "contemporaneously" in sentences. Thanks again for the economic/political lesson though. I enjoy your imput.

First step is to quit blameing YOUR government and blame the corporations and forien governments that control it. Get them out of control and the people back in and the problems will go away.
When forien lobbiest and corporations have the money to buy enough lobbiests to make the laws. You can't blame the government. It isn't the Dem's they just got in office after the rep.'s has had control for years..... IT IS BOTH BEING CONTROLED BY FORIENERS AND CORPORATIONS..............The giants have taken over and all the money is going in a hand full of pockets. They are in a race for world controll..............that is why they want world trade. Sure isn't good for us. Free trade worked till we got into world trade. I want the high prices and hight wages back...........OHHHHHHHHH THE 70'S

If you don't like paying $4.00 a gallon for gas, figure out a way to use less. That's the only quick fix you're ever going to find.

I'm as fed up with oil prices as the rest of you, but a new tax on oil will only mean, higher oil prices. When gas is $4.00 here, it will not be that price everywhere. The last time gas got that high, it was about 20 cents a gallon in Venezuela. The oil is here, and we have access to it, may be uncomfortable for a while, but we could tell the oil producing countries to stick it, then what are they going to do?

But none of this will ever happen, because the system is corrupt, and always will be.

I don't want them to do a dang thing for me.. I just don't want them to be able to have monopolys. It is unfare for a corporation to get control of a product they know you have to have and rob you on the price becouse you can't get it any were else.
Like a stent that opens your aertery. It is smaller than a paper chip yet it cost $3000.00....... Most of what you have to have these days is controled by 3 corporations. That is not free market. That is rich man rules.........
